  • Publication number: 20240103494
Abstract: A computer readable medium stores instructions that cause a processor to receive an industry profile associated with an industrial automation system that includes a plurality of devices, each including a compute surface that performs software tasks. The instructions cause the processor to determine data processing tasks to perform based on the industry profile, identify a portion of the devices to perform the data processing tasks based on the compute surface available for each of the devices, deploy a container to each of the portion of the devices, wherein each container of each of the portion of the devices performs at least one of the data processing tasks, receive one or more properties associated with the container of each of the portion of the plurality of devices, and update a registry to indicate the one or more properties associated with the container of each of the portion of the devices.

  • Patent number: 8701199
Abstract: A technique controls launching of a client application on an electronic device. The technique involves, after the client application is installed on the electronic device, providing input from the electronic device to an adaptive authentication service of a remote authentication server. The technique further involves receiving a credential from the adaptive authentication service of the remote authentication server in response to a successful adaptive authentication result which is based on the input provided from the electronic device. The technique further involves invoking the client application with the credential on the electronic device to establish a trusted session between the client application and an application server. Such a technique is well suited for use by multi environment clients such as general purpose computers, tablets and smart phones.

  • Publication number: 20130240471
Abstract: A shelving system is disclosed that couples together a pallet storage rack and a bulk storage rack. The pallet storage rack includes an upstanding post with structure different than the upstanding post for the bulk storage rack. Accordingly, the shelving system includes at least a beam having first and second ends, where the first end is adapted to couple with a pallet storage rack, and where the second end is adapted to couple with a bulk storage rack. The disclosed structure therefore couples together the bulk storage and pallet storage racks to conserve space and provide a more convenient, stable, and efficient storage system.

  • Patent number: 8365247
Abstract: Electronic circuitry includes an input/output (I/O) interface, memory which stores a set of database fingerprints generated from records of a database, and an analyzing circuit coupled to the I/O interface and the memory. The analyzing circuit is constructed and arranged to derive a set of sample tokens from electronic data under test (e.g., an email, an electronic document, etc.), and form a set of sample fingerprints from the set of sample tokens. Each sample fingerprint is based on a sample token of the set of sample tokens. The analyzing circuit is further constructed and arranged to output a result signal based on a comparison between the set of sample fingerprints and the set of database fingerprints. The result signal provides an indication of whether the electronic data under test includes particular information from the database.

  • Publication number: 20080111285
Abstract: A method and apparatus for blow molding a case for housing an object, such as a tool, is disclosed generally comprising first and second mold portions located adjacent each other to create separate cavities for forming base and lid portions of a case and a punch for each portion corresponding to the outline of an object. In certain embodiments, the punch protrudes into the cavity during blow molding to create a sidewall to facilitate a press fit. In some embodiments, additional punches and/or recesses are provided to produce additional apertures or flanges in the walls of the tool case.

  • Publication number: 20070012704
Abstract: A blow molded case is disclosed generally comprising a double wall, blow molded base portion having inner and outer case walls, and a lid portion connected to the base portion such that the lid, when in a closed position, at least partly covers the inner case wall of the base portion, which accommodates a first object. The outer wall of the base portion has a hole for receiving a second object, such as a drawer or other receptacle. In certain embodiments, the hole is a punched hole, created by extending a punch through a sidewall of the base portion substantially perpendicular to the parting line thereof. In certain embodiments, the sidewall is non-planar, and in some embodiments, the sidewall includes a recess adjacent the hole for easily gripping the second object.

  • Publication number: 20060073290
Abstract: A method and apparatus for blow molding a case for housing an object, such as a tool, is disclosed generally comprising first and second mold portions located adjacent each other to create separate cavities for forming base and lid portions of a case. The second mold surface includes a protuberance for creating a protrusion on an outer wall of the case during blow molding, which serves to restrain the movement of an object that is received in a hole in the corresponding inner wall of the case. In certain embodiments, the protrusion corresponds to at least part of the outline of the object or an aperture in the object. In some embodiments, the protrusion is positioned to engage an edge of the object to prevent movement.

  • Publication number: 20050091537
Abstract: Monitored content is analyzed to determine full and partial matches to previously classified content. Monitored content matching previously classified public content is classified as public, even if the monitored content is also found to match previously classified private content. In other words, public classification “overrides” potentially private classification. Monitored content matching only previously classified private content is classified as private. All remaining otherwise unclassified monitored content is classified as unknown. Monitored content is analyzed with respect to a session. If any content in a session is private, then the session is classified as private. If all content in a session is public, then the session is classified as public. Otherwise, the session is classified as unknown. In a related aspect, a set of policies are searched for a first match in part according to the classification, and a designated action taken if the first match is found.
