Abstract: An orientation agnostic ring seal includes an annular body defining an axial hole therethrough for fluid passage in an axial direction and having a radial plane that is perpendicular to the axial direction. Both axial sides of the ring seal include a deformable annular protrusion extending from the annular body in an axial direction to a first apex, which is configured to deform upon engagement with a first planar sealing surface, and a first seal ring engagement surface configured to engage a first annular rounded sealing ring. So configured, the ring seal can seal two different types of flow components regardless of its orientation.

  • Publication number: 20240141716
Abstract: The door sill includes a sill deck and a rail carrier assembly having a function of height adjustment. The rail carrier assembly is configured on the sill deck. The rail carrier assembly includes a rail cap, a rail carrier, an adjustment nut and an adjustment screw. The rail cap is snapped onto an upper end of the rail carrier. A groove is formed in the sill deck for the rail carrier to fit in. A nut installation hole is formed in the rail carrier. The adjustment nut is assembled at the nut installation hole, and is in threaded fit with the adjustment screw. The adjustment screw drives the adjustment nut to move up or down in an axial direction of the adjustment screw through rotation, thereby altering the height of the rail carrier fitted in the groove and altering the height of the rail cap.

  • Patent number: 11974011
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods to deliver location restricted content to devices that do not have a location component, such as a Global Positioning System component. A location aware device may send to a content delivery service, location information determined by a location component of the location aware device and receive, from the content delivery service, an encrypted access token. The location aware device may then send the access token to a non-location aware device that is on a same local area network as the location aware device. The non-location aware device may provide the access token to the content delivery service along with a request for location restricted content. The content delivery service may use the access token provided by the non-location aware device to verify that the non-location aware device is within a defined area for which the requested location restricted content is allowed for presentation.

  • Patent number: 11970883
Abstract: Disclosed is a tamper proof tag and accompanying method for verifying that a watch is authentic and has not been tampered with. The tamper proof tag, when affixed to the watch, ensures that the watch is authentic and prevents a user from tampering with the watch. The tamper proof tag also allows the watch to be worn while the tamper proof tag is affixed to watch and is minimally obstructive to the aesthetics of the watch. This provides a purchasing user with confidence that the watch is authentic, while also allowing the user to try on the watch without having to remove the tamper proof tag. The tamper proof tag also protects the seller from a user that may attempt to tamper with the watch after purchase. For example, the seller may condition returns for a sold watch on the tamper proof tag remaining affixed to the watch.

  • Patent number: 11966230
Abstract: Techniques for determining a prediction probability associated with a disengagement event are discussed herein. A first prediction probability can include a probability that a safety driver associated with a vehicle (such as an autonomous vehicle) may assume control over the vehicle. A second prediction probability can include a probability that an object in an environment is associated the disengagement event. Sensor data can be captured and represented as a top-down representation of the environment. The top-down representation can be input to a machine learned model trained to output prediction probabilities associated with a disengagement event. The vehicle can be controlled based the prediction probability and/or the interacting object probability.

  • Publication number: 20240124342
Abstract: A sheet of glass can be formed in a batch process by introducing molten glass onto a layer of molten tin within a tank. The tank may be outfitted with infrared emitters to control the amount of heat delivered to the tank while the sheet of glass is formed. A lower surface of the tank can have a three-dimensional shape, and the molten tin may be removed from the tank while the sheet of glass is ductile so that the sheet of glass is molded by the three-dimensional shape, thereby producing a shaped sheet of glass. The delivery of infrared energy to the tank may be facilitated by one or more ceramic glass surface.

  • Patent number: 11961259
Abstract: The calibration system of the farming machine receives images from each camera of the camera array. The images comprise visual information representing a view of a portion of an area surrounding the farming machine. To calibrate a pair of cameras including a first camera and second camera, the calibration system determines a relative pose between the pair of cameras by extracting relative position and orientation characteristics from visual information in both an image received from the first camera and an image received from the second camera. The calibration system identifies a calibration error for the pair of cameras based on a comparison of the relative pose with an expected pose between the first pair of cameras. The calibration system transmits a notification to an operator of the farming machine that describes the calibration error and instructions for remedying the calibration error.
