  • Patent number: 10123789
Abstract: A variable compressible device is utilized with a vacuum to preferentially close a wound. At least one of a strengthening member which resists compression preferentially in one direction, more so than another direction, or a flute in a layer of the closure device whereby to facilitate preferentially compressing in a direction perpendicular to the flute is provided.
