  • Publication number: 20240107893
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to magnetoresistive (MR) devices. The MR device comprises a synthetic antiferromagnetic (SAF) layer that increases exchange coupling field, and in turn, less magnetic noise of such devices. The MR device comprises a first ferromagnetic (FM1) layer and a second ferromagnetic (FM2) layer, in between which is an SAF spacer of RuAl alloy having a B2 crystalline structure which may grow epitaxial on BCC (110) or FCC (111) textures, meaning that the (110) or (111) plane is parallel to the surface of MR device substrate. Further, amorphous layers may be inserted into the device structure to reset the growth texture of the device to a (001), (110), or (111) texture in order to promote the growth of tunneling barrier layers or antiferromagnetic (AF) pinning layers.

  • Publication number: 20240087785
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to magnetoresistive (MR) devices. The MR device comprises a synthetic antiferromagnetic (SAF) layer that increases stability to magnetic fields, and in turn, results in lower magnetic noise of the device. The MR device comprises a first ferromagnetic (FM1) layer and a second ferromagnetic (FM2) layer, in between which is an SAF spacer of RuAl alloy having a B2 crystalline structure with (001) texture, meaning that the (001) plane is parallel to the surface of MR device substrate. The first ferromagnetic (FM1) layer and a part of the second ferromagnetic (FM2) layer also have the (001) texture. An amorphous layer in a second ferromagnetic (FM2) layer can reset the growth texture of the MR device to a (111) texture in order to promote the growth of an antiferromagnetic (AF) pinning layer.

  • Publication number: 20240070189
Abstract: Implementations described herein relate to providing device messages in image compilations based on user content. A computer-implemented method includes determining that a playback mode is entered on a device to display one or more image compilations, each image compilation including images for successive display. Message criteria are obtained for device messages, each device message indicating a device function associated with images of the image compilations or of a user image library. A device message is selected based on associated message criteria. An image is identified in the user image library, the image being in the image compilations, depicts a type of image feature in the image compilations, and/or has characteristic(s) modifiable by the device function. The device message is displayed during image compilation playback and includes the identified image and a message control option. In response to user selection of the message control option, the device function is initiated.

  • Patent number: 6851740
Abstract: An automotive vehicle having a passenger cabin includes a floorpan with seats mounted to the floorpan. Side closure structures adjoin the outboard ends of the seats. Seat displacement members located within the side closure structures load the outboard ends of the seats so as to deform the seat frames and floorpan. This moves the affected seat laterally inward with respect to a longitudinal center plane of the vehicle in the event of a laterally directed impact load against the closure structure. As a result, the pelvic region of the occupant will be the first region of the occupant to be dynamically loaded by the side closure structure.
