Patent number: 9204755Abstract: The apparatus of this invention relates to a device for heating or cooking food or liquids such as soup, water, roast, etc. A downwardly curved visor-like deflector is selectively removably positioned outwardly of the upper end of the radiation disk of an infrared heater so as to extend outwardly therefrom. The deflector has an upwardly presented cooking utensil opening formed therein and a horizontally disposed cooking utensil support secured to the deflector at the inner surface thereof below the cooking utensil opening. The cooking utensil support dwells in a plane below the upper end of the radiation disk whereby infrared rays emitted from the radiation disk will impinge upon the cooking utensil support and a cooking utensil positioned on the cooking utensil support to cook or heat the contents thereof. Other accessories may also be attached to the heater.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2012Date of Patent: December 8, 2015Inventor: James Zoucha

Patent number: 9089241Abstract: An apparatus for cooking food which is used in combination with an infrared heater having an intake end and a discharge end from which infrared rays are emitted therefrom. A wire grill basket supporting structure is operatively secured to the heater at the outer side of the protective grill thereof for supporting one or more wire grill baskets, having food therein, in a vertically disposed manner whereby the infrared rays emitted from the heater will cook the food contained within the one or more wire grill baskets.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2012Date of Patent: July 28, 2015Inventor: James Zoucha
-
Patent number: 9027544Abstract: A protective grill is provided for a portable infrared heater which reduces the possibility of a person from coming into contact with the radiation disk of the heater. The protective grill of this invention may be selectively detachably secured to the wheeled frame of a heater wherein the radiation disk thereof is positioned at one side of the wheeled frame or which may be selectively secured to the wheeled frame of the heater wherein the radiation disk of the heater is positioned at one end of the heater.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2012Date of Patent: May 12, 2015Inventor: James Zoucha

Patent number: 8434239Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for drying grain in a storage bin as well as the method of drying the grain. The apparatus includes an air blower positioned outwardly of the storage bin which has an air inlet end and an air discharge end. The air discharge end of the air blower is in communication with the interior of the storage bin. A heat exchanger is positioned in a spaced relationship with respect to the air blower and has an air passageway with an inlet end and an outlet end. The outlet end of the heat exchanger is spaced from the inlet end of the air blower. An infrared heater is spaced from the inlet end of the heat exchanger so that infrared rays from the infrared heater will be directed into the air passageway of the heat exchanger so that the heat exchanger will heat the air being drawn through the heat exchanger by the air blower with the air blower sucking heated air from the air passageway and blowing the same into the storage bin to dry the grain therein.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2010Date of Patent: May 7, 2013Inventor: James Zoucha
