  • Patent number: 11647980
Abstract: A needle assembly for use with an autonomous ultrasound imaging system includes a needle having a proximal end and a distal end adapted to be inserted into a patient. The needle assembly also includes a needle transducer mounted to an exterior surface of the needle and is electrically coupled to a power source. The needle transducer is configured to receive data signals from the autonomous ultrasound imaging system which contain information relating to a plurality of ultrasound waves generated by an ultrasound probe of the autonomous ultrasound imaging system.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9226727
Abstract: A sensing system for sensing the condition of an object comprises a transducer arranged to generate pressure waves directed at the object and detection means, such as a pressure wave detector, arranged to detect cavitation or other processes in the object. The system further comprises processing means arranged to receive detection signals from the detection means, to process the detection signals to measure a signal parameter of the detection signals that varies with a parameter of the object, and may generate a sensor output that varies in response to changes in the signal parameter.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20050044823
Abstract: An illuminated tack apparatus is disposed on a horse for night time usage. Such illuminated tack apparatus comprises at least one strap like member having a predetermined length and a predetermined shape formed from a flexible material. There is a predetermined plurality of illumination means disposed along the predetermined length of the at least one strap like member. A power source is disposed at a predetermined location along the predetermined length of the strap like member and wiring is connected to the power source and to each of the predetermined plurality of illumination means. Further, there is a switch means connected to the power source for at least one of completing and interrupting power to the plurality of illumination means.

  • Publication number: 20050044184
Abstract: A keyboard/video/mouse (KVM) switching protocol is disclosed in which KVM information is applied to a network of workstations. At least one data converter communicates on the workstation network and retrieves KVM information from the workstation network that is addressed to a server assigned to the converter. The converter places the KVM information in a format suitable to the assigned server and applies the converted KVM information to the appropriate standard device ports of the server. The system provides motherboard access to the servers that is characteristics of KVM switches but provides essentially unlimited scalability not known in traditional KVM switches.
