  • Publication number: 20120167316
Abstract: A sweeper apparatus includes a brush frame with first and second sides and a top surface. A brush roll is supported on the brush frame and is adapted for rotation to dislodge snow or other debris from an associated surface. A brush hood is connected to the brush frame and includes a hood surface located between the top surface and the brush roll. The hood surface extends between the first and second lateral sides of the brush frame and is selectively movable between an up position and a down position. A stripper bar is connected to the brush hood and is movable with the hood surface when the hood surface moves between its down and up positions. At least one actuator is operably connected between the brush frame and the brush hood and is selectively operable to move the hood surface between its up and down positions.

  • Publication number: 20080134586
Abstract: A method of covering a structure having walls defining an interior, the walls having an upper peripheral edge defining an open top. A first step involves positioning a base unit within the interior of the structure, the base unit defining a drainage opening. A second step involves extending supporting cables from the base unit to the upper peripheral edge of the walls. A third step involves supporting a funnel shaped tarp on the supporting cables. The funnel shaped tarp has an upper cone and a lower chute. A top peripheral edge of the upper cone is secured to the upper peripheral edge of the walls. The lower chute extends down to the drainage opening in the base unit. The open top of the structure is covered by the funnel shaped tarp and precipitation is directed by the upper cone and the lower chute to the drainage opening.

  • Publication number: 20040146597
Abstract: The present invention is directed to molds for making packaging inserts having a pre-selected shape and a method of making the same. The shape of the mold is determined by first pre-selecting the shape of the packing insert. The shape of the packaging insert is dependent on the type of product that will be shipped. Once the shape of the packing insert is determined, the mold is then made by fabricating multiple parts, each part having a pre-selected shape. The shape of each part of the mold is determined such that when the mold is assembled, the mold forms a contiguous inner cavity having the shape (the inner cavity is the negative) of the pre-selected packaging insert. After the mold is assembled, beaded foam material is injected into the mold to form the packaging insert.
