  • Publication number: 20240173577
Abstract: A cable sleeve for use with a safety cable of a fall protection system. The cable sleeve has a braking system that includes a constant-contact wheel, a rotor that is connected to the constant-contact wheel, a cam plate, and a braking shoe. The rotor may have a permanent magnet and a magnetically susceptible item that is held in a disengaged position by the permanent magnet. Rotation of the constant-contact wheel can overcome the magnetic force and cause the item to move so as to engage with the cam plate and actuate braking by the braking shoe.

  • Publication number: 20230219869
Abstract: There is provided a process for producing a target material-enriched product from a target material-comprising gaseous feed material, wherein the target material-comprising gaseous feed material includes a carrier agent-interacting material, comprising: treating the target material-comprising gaseous feed material for effecting depletion of the carrier agent-interacting material within the target material-comprising gaseous feed material, with effect that a carrier agent-interacting material-depleted gaseous material is produced; and fractionating the carrier agent-interacting material-depleted gaseous material via a membrane, with effect that a product is obtained that is enriched in the target material relative to the target material-comprising gaseous feed material. The membrane includes a carrier agent to which the carrier agent-interacting agent is detrimental in response to emplacement of the carrier agent-interacting agent in mass transfer communication with the carrier agent.

  • Patent number: 10807885
Abstract: A low energy nitrogen removal wetland system is disclosed to provide high rates of nitrogen removal treatment for wastewater with low energy requirements. The wetland system uses down-flow rock-filled wetlands for nitrogen removal. The system has no aeration requirements, thus resulting in low energy consumption. The wetland system comprises a first column receiving drainage influent, a mid-level reservoir, a second column receiving drainage from the mid-level reservoir and a lower level reservoir receiving discharge from the second column. The first and the second columns are filled with media layers comprise rock media with ammonia adsorption capacity for ammonia removal. The wetland system operates in a flood and drain operation mode or a continuous flow mode.
