    Abstract: A recessed tray floor drain for collecting ice cubes falling on to a floor surface so that people do not slip on the fallen ice cubes when traversing the floor surface. The recessed tray floor drain includes a tray with a bottom wall and a perimeter side wall. The perimeter side wall of the tray has an inner shoulder therearound. A grate substantially covers the open top of the tray and is rested on the inner shoulder of the perimeter side wall. The bottom wall of the tray has an drain hole.
