  • Patent number: 7728829
Abstract: One embodiment of a display system includes a control module that controls an adjustable aperture based on a calculated aperture setting and that applies a calculated gain setting to a set of frame data to define a modified set of frame data, an image analysis module that calculates a gain setting and an aperture setting for said set of frame data and forwards said calculated gain setting and said aperture setting to said control module, and a frame data buffer that stores said set of frame data during calculation by said image analysis module.

  • Publication number: 20080178859
Abstract: An acceleration-sensing loader activation system can include an acceleration sensor configured to generate an electrical signal corresponding to the magnitude and periodicity of movement of a marker or loader body or a marker or loader component. A signal filter circuit can be arranged in communication with the acceleration sensor to receive and filter the electrical signal. A signal amplifier circuit can be arranged in communication with the signal filter circuit to amplify a signal from the signal filter circuit and transmit the amplified signal to a signal processing circuit. The signal processing circuit can be programmed to evaluate the incoming signal and determine whether it corresponds to a desired actuation event (such as a firing event). If the signal processing circuit determines that a desired actuation event has occurred, it can then send a control signal to a control circuit to activate a feed device of the loader.

  • Publication number: 20030201183
Abstract: One or more fractal antennas are produced in an electroforming circuit. A stainless steel on glass mandrel is covered with a dielectric in an inverse image of a fractal antenna to be formed. The portion of the stainless steel uncovered by the dielectric is chemically washed so that a fractal antenna formed thereon can be more efficiently removed. The mandrel is made a cathode in an electroforming circuit, which results in a fractal antenna being formed on the mandrel. The fractal antenna is separated from the mandrel and mounted on a rigid or semi-rigid substrate.
