Abstract: A container 10 comprising a circumferential sidewall 12 having an integral base wall 14 for support of the container. The container 10 has an open top end 7 closeable by a lid 34. An article support base 24 is displaceable in the container in a guided manner and is provided with a biasing structure 38, 40 which urges it in an upward direction towards the open top end 7 to expose one or more objects 8 placed on the support base 24 and immersed in a liquid 9 which is placed within the container. The support base 24 has a projection 32 which is engageable by the lid 34 to maintain the support base 27 into the liquid 9. Passages 6 permit liquid to be displaced from opposed top and bottom ends of the support base 24. The biasing structure 38, 40 in one embodiment is constituted by a floatation casing 38 and in a further embodiment is constituted by a spring member 40.

Abstract: A closure suitable for use with a condiment container which has a dispensing mouth formed therein, the closure comprising a cover adapted to fit over the mouth of the container and having a plurality of dispensing sections formed therein with at least one dispensing aperture in each dispensing section, each dispensing section having a sealing flap associated therewith, the sealing flap being hingedly secured whereby the flap can be moved from a first position in an overlying sealing relationship with the dispensing aperture to a second open position permitting access to the dispensing aperture. The closure has a pair of retaining posts for retaining the flap in the open position. Since there are a plurality of dispensing sections, the closure can function as a universal closure for many different types of condiments.

Abstract: A detachable bag-carrying handgrip device for hand-carrying one or more bags by their handle portion. The handgrip portion comprising an elongated handle member defined by integrally formed outwardly extending side walls merging in a bottom trough section. The handle member has an open top end for receiving a bag handle portion. A pair of retaining flanges are provided at opposed ends of the handle member and have a slot therein leading to an enlarged aperture capable of accommodating one or more of the bag handle portions passing therethrough. The enlarged aperture extends into an end portion of the bottom trough section and defines a curved end wall.
