  • Patent number: 6478725
Abstract: Slitting unit forming part of a machine for production of carton blanks, in particular blanks made of cardboard or corrugated cardboard. The unit (2) comprises working wheels (12, 24, 25, 28) which are opposite in pairs, one wheel in at least one pair (24) being made with at least one slitting knife (26) extending over a part of the periphery of the wheel while the periphery of the other wheel in said pair is made with a slot for receiving the knife. The unit also comprises a vacuum belt (6) running adjacently to each slitting-wheel pair (24; 25) for securing and feeding the blanks (10). The wheels (24; 25) in each slitting-wheel pair are mounted in an upper and, respectively, a lower stand unit (3, 4) at least a portion of that part of one stand unit (4) which faces towards the other (3) being made in the form of a vacuum box.

  • Patent number: 5915355
Abstract: Fuel supply system (1) for a combustion engine arranged in an inlet duct (2), which extends to the engine body itself. The system (1) comprises one or several air valves (5, 6), which are all mechanically connected with manually influenced linkages, such as a starting control, choke or throttle control linkages, as well as one or several nozzles (3, 4) located in connection with the air valves (5, 6). At least one air valve (5, 6) is influenced by a temperature sensitive device (10), so that the valve's (5, 6) angular position changes in at least one angular position, for instance an end position, by means of the valve or its linkage shaft (7, 8) being mechanically influenced by the temperature sensitive device, either directly or via an intermediate device.

  • Patent number: 4763632
Abstract: The present invention relates to a filtering fuel collector arranged inside a fuel tank to provide a running reserve fuel supply for a combustion engine when subjected to considerable g forces or while inclined. A running fuel reserve is obtained by making the fuel collector out of a porous, dimensionally stable material capable of supplying the collector with fuel when the engine is running.

  • Patent number: 4641523
Abstract: It is desirable to be able to indicate the quantity of liquid left in the fuel tank of a vehicle. This is conventionally achieved with the aid of a float movable along a resistance wire. The invention offers an improved design of a liquid gauge consisting of two parallel rods (16 and 17),having resistance wires (18,19 respectively) wound around them and being surrounded by a float (6,7,15) with a contact (1-5) connecting the two resistance wires (18 and 19) to each other and arranged between the two wires (18 and 19).

  • Patent number: 4628188
Abstract: It has been found that in heating pads for seats, preferably car-seats, in which the heating pad (1 and 2) covers both seat and back-rest, an energy recoil from the back-rest may occur. The invention reduces said recoil by dimensioning the resistance wire (11) in the section (4 and 6) of the heating pad (1 and 2) covering the seat and of the resistance wire (10) in the section (3 and 5) of the heating pad (1 and 2) covering the back-rest in such a way that the ratio between the resistance of the first-mentioned resistance wire (11) and that of the last-mentioned resistance wire (10) increases when current flows through.
