  • Publication number: 20140075744
Abstract: A method and arrangement for pressing of windings assembled onto a transformer. The method includes applying pressing force on the windings, and controlling the pressing force on the windings during drying of transformer active part. Thus, before the drying process commences, the windings are assembled onto the transformer core and a pressing force is applied to the windings assembled onto a respective transformer core limb, wherein an individual pressing force is applied to the respective winding. This individual pressing force applied to the respective winding is then controlled during the process of drying the transformer active part. The windings will as a result advantageously be effectively compressed onto the core and stabilized.

  • Patent number: 8198967
Abstract: An induction device to be used in association with a high voltage electric transmission systems having at least one winding, at least one core frame, and at least one magnetic core leg arranged in the core frame. The core frame includes a plurality of core gaps including a plurality of spacers, and a plurality of core segments of a magnetic material. The core segments are being separated by at least one of the core gaps, and the winding is causing electromagnetic attraction forces to act in the core gaps. The induction device further includes at least one piezoelectric element arranged in one of the core gaps, and a control unit connected to the piezoelectric element. The control unit is arranged to provide an electrical signal for inducing vibrations of the piezoelectric element which counteract the electromagnetic attraction forces acting in the core gaps.

  • Patent number: 8154374
Abstract: A transformer winding having a conductor wound in a plurality of turns is disclosed, wherein the transformer winding includes a reinforcing part arranged at a winding transition in a manner so that the reinforcing part covers more than 180 degrees of the conductor circumference, whereby the bending strength of the conductor at the location of the reinforcing part is increased. The resistibility of the transformer winding against bending stress is hence improved.

  • Patent number: 8044307
Abstract: A power transformer/reactor immersed in oil including a transformer/reactor core and windings accommodated in a tank including a tank base plate and tank walls. A foundation supports the tank. An elongated continuous band forming a closed frame is arranged between the base plate and the foundation. An outer periphery of the base plate extends outside an inner periphery of the frame and thereby encloses an air volume within the frame, the base plate and foundation. The tank support reduces sound emitted from the transformer/reactor.

  • Patent number: 6661322
Abstract: A sound-insulating device for a stationary induction machine with an active part, an insulating fluid surrounding the active part, and a tank enclosing the insulating fluid. The sound-absorbing device includes a gas-filled cavity and a resilient member surrounding the gas-filled cavity, thus obtaining a sound-insulating device that is extremely compressible. In the induction machine, the device is arranged between the active part and the tank of the induction machine and is spaced from the inside of the tank. The sound-insulating device preferably has an extent in one plane, whereby the device has a membrane portion facing the active part and a membrane portion facing the tank. Preferably, at least one of the membrane portions has at least one corrugated region, and a spacing membrane is arranged in the cavity making contact with the membrane portion at at least two points.
