  • Patent number: 11929527
Abstract: A fuel cell device of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The fuel cell device includes a fuel cell, a supply air path leading to the fuel cell for a cathode supply air flow, and an exhaust air path leading away from the fuel cell for a cathode exhaust air flow. The supply air path and the exhaust air path are routed through a humidifier that humidifies the supply air and dehumidifies the exhaust air. The exhaust air path is further routed through a water separator that removes water from the exhaust air to provide evaporation water. A heat exchanger for cooling the fuel cell is provided that has an evaporative cooler for cooling the heat exchanger. The evaporative cooler is assigned to the water separator in fluidic communication and is supplied with evaporation water by the water separator.

  • Patent number: 5884940
Abstract: A height-adjustable fastening system for a safety belt of a vehicle has a guide track and a slide slidably connected to the guide track and arrestable in various positions along the guide track. A fastening or guiding bracket is connected to the slide. A Bowden cable arrangement has a first end connected to the slide and a second end connected to a vehicle seat displaceable on a first and second seat tracks. The Bowden cable arrangement includes a sleeve and a cable pull displaceably guided within the sleeve. A stationary guide is positioned in the vicinity of the first seat track. The Bowden cable arrangement is guided about the stationary guide and the sleeve is connected to the stationary guide. The cable pull is connected with a first end to the vehicle seat at a fastening location remote from the stationary guide. The cable pull transmits a displacement movement of the vehicle seat onto the slide.

  • Patent number: 5211447
Abstract: In a safety belt fastening device for a safety belt system having a belt-tightening device which acts on the fastening device of the belt and a fastening tongue which can be latched in the fastening device, whereby the fastening device comprises a fastener body having a fastening mechanism for the fastening tongue and a spring-loaded release button which acts on the fastening mechanism, it is ensured that even at the end of the belt-tightening process the operating button is within reach in an accessible position for the person who is strapped in. To this purpose, it is provided that the release button is formed in two parts with two button portions which are coupled together, which are movable in relation to each other and of which one button portion follows the movement of the fastener body during the belt-tightening process and the other button portion, after the completion of the belt-tightening process, stands in the operating position preset by the rest position of the fastener body.

  • Patent number: 5163207
Abstract: A buckle for a safety belt, especially for motor vehicles, for receiving and locking an insertion tongue. A locking latch is provided that is biased in an opening direction and is pivotably mounted in a buckle housing such that in a locking position the locking latch extends into a recess of the insertion tongue. A locking bar is movably mounted in the housing at an angle to an insertion path of the insertion tongue, with the locking bar securing the locking latch in the locking position thereof. A sliding key is guided transverse to a plane of movement of the locking latch for cancelling the locking position thereof via actuation of the locking bar. To protect the buckle from shock, a compensating mass is mounted in the housing such that it is movable relative to the locking bar. The compensating mass serves for fixing the locking bar in position.

  • Patent number: 5077871
Abstract: With a safety belt fastener for the take-up and latching of an insertion tongue having a housing and an insertion path for the insertion tongue, the insertion path being arranged in the housing and containing an ejector under spring action, having a latch guided in the fastener and cooperating with the tongue recess in the case of latching, the latch holding the insertion tongue in an associated recess of the fastener, and a spring-loaded shift key, guided at right angles to the movement plane of the latch, for the lifting of the latching device, the movement of which is composed of an unlatching stroke and a preceding idle stroke, simple anti-shock means are realized by providing in addition to the shift-key spring a further additional spring supported between a fastener part and the shift key, aligned in its spring force to oppose the insertion direction of the shift key and only active during the idle stroke of the shift key.
