  • Patent number: 6539838
Abstract: A deep-fryer having an elongate deep-frying trough and an endless conveyor belt, which is arranged to travel along a carrying run along the bottom of the deep-frying trough from an inlet end to an outlet end. Products introduced at the inlet end into a bath of oil in the deep-frying trough are thus moved through the deep-frying trough to the outlet end. A driven deflecting roller at the outlet end is adapted to drivingly engage the conveyor belt. A deflecting roller at the inlet end is also adapted to drivingly engage the conveyor belt and is arranged to move the same synchronously with the deflecting roller at the outlet end. A driving motor is arranged for driving the two deflecting rollers and is connected to drive a driving shaft arranged between the inlet end and the outlet end of the deep-frying trough and which is connected to the respective deflecting rollers via a respective angular gear.

  • Patent number: 6502209
Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer chip having integrated thereon a CPU, and a cache system being interconnected, and at least one synchronization unit. The chip is setable in one of at least two different running modes, a first one thereof being a DUT mode, and a second one thereof being a MONITOR mode. The MONITOR mode is complementary to the DUT mode. The chip additionally comprises a debug bus connectable to another identical chip for communicating signals enabling the chip and said another chip to run in parallel while said chips being in complementary modes. Said signals comprises synchronization signals generated by said synchronization unit. The present invention further relates to a computer apparatus, and a debugging system both employing at least one such chip.

  • Patent number: 6480924
Abstract: The present invention relates to an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) comprising an integrated central processor unit (CPU) (10), an integrated network interface control (NIC) (11) and at least one integrated input/output (I/O) device (13-16), and a transceiver circuit for buffering and amplifying SCSI signals from such an ASIC, whereby the outputs can be enabled to function as totem-pole or open-drain outputs, for active negation and wired-OR, respectively. According to the invention at least one I/O device is an ATA (16) or SCSI (15) device, with ports for connection to an external transceiver. The invention also relates to such a transceiver circuit for buffering and amplifying SCSI signals on single direction lines from an ASIC, whereby the outputs to the SCSI bus can be enabled to function as totem-pole or open-drain outputs, for active negation and wired-OR, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20020054573
Abstract: An integrated circuit comprises a CPU, ports for external communication, a memory means and a switching means for converting the circuit between a working mode and an initiating mode. The circuit is in itself, in the initiating mode, adapted to receive an initiating signal, comprising external instructions, and to bring the CPU to execute said instructions.

  • Patent number: 6356942
Abstract: An integrated circuit comprises a CPU, ports for external communication, a memory means and a switching means for converting the circuit between a working mode and an initiating mode. The circuit is in itself, in the initiating mode, adapted to receive an initiating signal, comprising external instructions, and to bring the CPU to execute said instructions. According to a method for bringing the integrated circuit to execute instructions, the integrated circuit is in a first step brought into the initiating mode. Thereafter the circuit receives said external signal and uses the integrated CPU to execute said instructions.

  • Publication number: 20010022838
Abstract: The present invention relates to a private telecommunications system comprising a number of switching arrangements (NA, NB) and using an asymmetrical protocol supporting set up of virtual calls between two switching arrangements for transfer of information. Means are provided for creating a call reference in the first switching arrangement (NA) when a first virtual call is to be set up from the first switching arrangement (NA) to a second switching arrangement (NB), storing means being provided in said first and second switching arrangements (NA, NB) for storing said call reference. Said first virtual call is released while all internal connections and the end points related to it are kept, and a second virtual call is set up in the direction opposite to that of the first virtual call using said call reference such that symmetrical transfer of information is enabled between the two switching arrangements (NA, NB).

  • Patent number: 5865102
Abstract: A deep-frying apparatus comprises an elongate deep-frying pan (1) having a plurality of bottom inlets (2-6) and bottom outlets (7-9) for frying oil, as well as a filter (13), a circulation pump (14) and a heat exchanger (11), which are connected in series from a first collection pipe (12), which is connected to the bottom outlets (7-9), to a second collection pipe (10), which is connected to the bottom inlets (2-6). At least one pair (18-20) of opposing lateral inlets is arranged in opposing side walls of the deep-frying pan (1) and provided opposite to one another in an area closest to an inlet end (16). At least two of the bottom inlets (2-6) are arranged in this area. Via a third collection pipe (24), the lateral inlets (18-20) are connected to the circulation pump (14), such that oil jets having a velocity of flow much exceeding that of the frying oil flowing in the longitudinal direction of the deep-frying pan are directed towards one another essentially transversely of this longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 5653495
Abstract: An extra U-shaped pressed plate profile (20) is arranged at the connection (13) between the A-pillar (3) and sill (5), inside a closed hollow beam running around the door aperture, which plate profile runs from the front lateral wall of the A-pillar obliquely rearwards to the lower lateral wall of the sill beam, thereby providing a double wall with spaced plates (26, 27). The double wall enables a local plastic deformation zone to be provided for impact of the wheel against the door aperture frame, and enables the wheel to be locked so that it does not migrate up the A-pillar, thereby providing controlled deformation and absorption of crash forces without the entire door aperture frame collapsing. The rear plate (27) forms a secondary closed hollow beam inside the door aperture frame which, during the deformation of the front plate (26), retains a closed stable door aperture frame with adjoining sections of the A-pillar (3) and sill (5).

  • Patent number: 4517211
Abstract: A method for the production of concentrated, frozen puree, especially potato puree, in which method the potatoes are first washed, peeled, cut into pieces, blanched, cooled and dewatered. The potatoes thus processed are then dried to reduce their weight by 40-60%, whereupon the potatoes are steamed and then mashed, frozen and crushed. By drying the potatoes before they are steamed, a final product of higher quality is obtained, while at the same time chemical additives, such as antioxidants, consistency agents etc., are rendered superfluous.
