  • Publication number: 20050179260
Abstract: The invention is directed at a pipe clamp for connecting two fluid lines of different shapes, having: a first uptake region (10) for the uptake of a line of a first shape; a second uptake region (11) for the uptake of a line of a second shape; a transition (12) for the fluid-tight connection of the two uptake regions (10, 11); a flange region (13) with end segments (14, 15) of the two uptake regions (10, 11) and of the transition (13), which form between them a clamping slot (16) that they bound on either side; and a fastening (17) for clamping the uptake regions (10, 11) around the lines at clamping slot (16). The pipe clamp according to the invention is hereby characterized in that the two uptake regions (10, 11) are eccentrically arranged relative to one another, so that the transition (12) and the uptake regions (10, 11) form a planar region next to one another without a step or gradation in the flange region (13).

  • Publication number: 20050066480
Abstract: The invention relates to a band clamp (1) for connecting a hose or pipe end (2) to a pipe (3). Said band clamp comprises flange sections (4,5) which are located opposite each other and which are essentially radially set apart. The band clamp (1) is clamped around the connection on said flange sections, with means for preventing the band clamp material from creeping under stress being configured in the area of at least one of the flange sections (4,5). A sliding segment for preventing leaks is also provided.

  • Patent number: 3950302
Abstract: A dispersible copolymer powder comprising vinyl ester, an acrylamide and optionally ethylene units is obtained by carying out the copolymerization reaction in an emulsifier-free aqueous medium and drying the emulsifier free aqueous dispersion of the copolymer in the absence of anti-caking agents. The copolymer powder has a very good storage stability and can be easily redispersed in water to give a dispersion having a high binder content.
