  • Patent number: 10988074
Abstract: A method and a device for adjusting a light distribution of a vehicle headlight having a control unit for adjusting the light distribution. The headlight includes a number of light sources. The control unit includes an interface configured for receiving user-specified parameters for adjusting and/or modifying an illuminance distribution within the light distribution.

  • Patent number: 10906452
Abstract: A control device for a headlight for emitting light according to a headlight signal corresponding to an adjustable light distribution. The control device outputs the headlight signal, corresponding to the adjustable light distribution, to the headlight. The control device has an evaluation unit that determines object position data of the object when particles are detected using a detection unit and a self-illuminating object is detected, and to determine, as a function of the object position data, a region in which the object is located. The evaluation unit also generates data for the light distribution as a function of the region in such a way that a light intensity in the region is reduced or increased with respect to a light intensity outside this region, and correspondingly to determine and output the headlight signal from the data for the light distribution.

  • Patent number: 10696208
Abstract: A device for adjusting the light distribution of a vehicle headlight with a plurality of light sources, includes a first control unit for adjusting the light distribution. The first control unit is coupled to a second control unit, the second control unit being coupled to at least one input device for inputting user settings for adjusting the light distribution in a user -defined manner and/or includes at least one interface for coupling to at least one input device of this type, the second control unit generating control data from the user settings and transmitting the control data to the first control unit in order to adjust the light distribution.

  • Publication number: 20070109762
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for optimizing a vehicle light and to a headlight device for executing the method, light having a light distribution with a greater horizontal scattering range than that of the passing light being generated, a fog light distribution being impressed on the passing light distribution as a function of a steering angle in accordance with a switch-on characteristic. It is provided according to the invention that in accordance with prescribed switch-on characteristics an additional luminaire 5 is switched in as a turning light below a maximum speed of VmaxFRA, and as a static cornering light below a maximum speed vmax that is higher than vmaxFRA, and is switched off in accordance with prescribed switch-off characteristics.
