  • Publication number: 20220411175
Abstract: A self-loading pallet system is disclosed where a three-dimensional basic structure can be manipulated horizontally and vertically and carry with it a cargo, loaded either directly into the structure, or onto a separate pallet structure inserted into the basic structure. The system is useful for loading and unloading cargo between ground level and the cargo floor of vehicles. The vertical loading steps are accomplished by a sequence of extensions and retractions of legs slidably attached to the basic structure. The vertical leg movements are powered by actuators that extend and retract their pistons attached to telescoping legs of the basic structure. Each actuator has an interior motor and a dedicated controller operating the motor. An exterior master controller communicates with each actuator controller, whereby the sequence of vertical loading steps can be pre-programmed to effectively automate the loading and unloading sequences. Actuator motors are powered by an exterior rechargeable battery.

  • Publication number: 20210122564
Abstract: A self-loading container with specific improvements upon prior art. The aim is to expand self-loading from industrial multi mode shipping units to less costly end uses with a range of container sizes, shapes and customizations that perform common tasks and that can be self-loaded into any size vehicle. Gravitational stability is improved by relocating the main rolling means of container from the bottom of vertically extendable jacks or legs to horizontally extendable support rails directly under container. As such, extendable legs are used only to vertically level container with a receiving surface onto which it can then be horizontally transferred by means of its horizontally extendable support rails. Cost and operating improvements include a simplified coupling mechanism torqued for heavy loads with which front and rear leg extension and retraction can be either in pairs, combined or locked.

  • Publication number: 20190367263
Abstract: What is disclosed is an assembly system to create customizable, mobile, lightweight containers and container-like products ranging in size from consumer and commercial storage products to shipping containers and small mobile buildings. The system uses slidable interconnection of various profile shapes of elongated panel modules with same length standardized linear and corner panel connectors, to create container sleeves retained by customizable end framing to become container shells. The container shells are customized to size needed by the number of interconnected panel modules used and the length to which they are cut. Assembly of their few basic parts is simple with a limited range of tools and skills needed. The system further provides for simple, seamless, solid and reversible structural attachment of third party components, without welding or riveting, to achieve specific customization goals as needed.
