  • Patent number: 9216443
Abstract: A drive system (100) for a cleaning device for cleaning a tank (1) including a brake arrangement (7, 8, 13) for regulating the speed of the magnetic hysteresis coupling, and where the brake arrangement is arranged in the vicinity of a second coupling part (5) of the magnetic hysteresis coupling, and where brake arrangement includes brake parts (7, 8, 13) that interacts with the second coupling part of the magnetic hysteresis coupling to adjust the rotation of the second coupling part of the magnetic hysteresis coupling.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 27, 2010
Date of Patent: December 22, 2015
    Assignee: ALFA LAVAL CORPORATE AB

  • Patent number: 6874382
Abstract: The present invention relates to a gear control of a motor vehicle. The gear control incorporates a gear lever (1) which can be placed in at least two mutually spaced gear positions (V1-5), each of which initiates a particular gear change in a gearbox (12). The gear control incorporates at least one power device (4) connected to the gear lever (1), a position reader (7-10) designed to detect the position of the gear lever (1), and a control unit (11) designed to control the power device (4) on the basis of the position of the gear lever (1) so that movements of the gear lever (1) are only allowed along a particular path (3) which is defined by a control unit (11) containing software.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 18, 2001
Date of Patent: April 5, 2005
    Assignee: Scania CV AB (publ)

Abstract: The present invention relates to a gear control of a motor vehicle. The gear control incorporates a gear lever (1) which can be placed in at least two mutually spaced gear positions (V1-5), each of which initiates a particular gearchange in a gearbox (12). The gear control incorporates at least one power device (4) connected to the gear lever (1), a position reader (7-10) designed to detect the position of the gear lever (1), and a control unit (11) designed to control the power device (4) on the basis of knowledge of the position of the gear lever (1) so that movements of the gear lever (1) are only allowed along a particular path (3) which is defined by a control unit (11) containing software.

  • Patent number: 6664662
Abstract: Method and device for controlling an auxiliary unit (10) in a motor vehicle by means of a device consisting of a control unit (40) and a switch (30) for switching the auxiliary unit on and off. To ensure the maintenance of an auxiliary unit of this type and to prolong its life using simple means, it is proposed, among other things, that the control unit (40) will repeatedly signal actions to be taken to a driver of the vehicle or directly to the switch. A first action is the switch-on of the switched-off auxiliary unit (10) at a specific point in time if it (the unit) has been switched off for a long period of at least some weeks. A second, succeeding action is the switch-off of the unit (10) switched on in the manner described, after a short period of at least some minutes.
