  • Patent number: 11834808
Abstract: A dewatering system for separating water from solids in dredged slurries in real-time, parallel to the dredging of harbors, stream, and lakes. Water removed from the solids can be returned to the body of water from which it came. After the system removes debris and sand from the slurry, the system removes capillary water the remaining fines and filters out most toxic particles.

  • Publication number: 20160074780
Abstract: The embodiments relate to systems and methods for dewatering a flocculated slurry. A flow of slurry is received, the slurry comprising a liquid and solid particulate that is suspended in the liquid. At least a portion of the solid particulate is flocculated to form the flocculated slurry comprising flocculated material in the liquid. The flow of the flocculated slurry is delivered to a tracking screen that is configured to separate the flocculated material from the liquid. While the flow of flocculated slurry is disposed relative to the tracking screen, a pulse of energy is delivered to the tracking screen.

  • Publication number: 20100148834
Abstract: The present invention relates to a circuit arrangement and method of applying predistortion to a baseband signal used for modulating a pulse-shaped signal, wherein an envelope information of the baseband signal is detected and slewing distortions of the pulse-shaped signal are reduced by applying at least one of a phase modulation and a duty cycle 5 modulation to the baseband signal as additional predistortion in response to the detected envelope information. Thereby, slewing distortions in the pulse-shaped signal are removed or at least reduced.

  • Publication number: 20090108548
Abstract: The invention relates to a monoski, consisting of a front and a back board connected to each other by means of a hinge, in which the hinge is constructed in such a way that the back board can be folded over the front board through which a less large package is created and also the two board parts can be moved in a horizontal plane in a limited angle. During skiing the skier stands with one foot on the front board and the other on the back board. During skiing, the skiers feet are not fixed to the boards. In order to keep sufficient contact with the ski, a foldable supporting instrument is mounted on the front board part. The back board part has a surface relief at the bottom to track better.

  • Publication number: 20050140444
Abstract: A differential amplifier for amplifying an input differential signal having two components (In+, In?) substantially in anti-phase to each other and generating an output differential signal having two differential components (Out+, Out?). The amplifier comprises a pair of inverters coupled to a pair of adders the inverters receiving the input differential signal. The amplifier is characterized in that it further comprises a pair of controllable buffers for receiving the input differential signal and outputting a signal to the pair of adders. A bias of the said pair of buffers is cross-controlled by the input differential signal for controlling an amplification of said pair of controllable buffers.

  • Patent number: 6350299
Abstract: An air/oil separator used with a closed loop oil seal system for a liquid ring vacuum pump, which incorporates a multi-chambered design for facilitating multiple stages of oil particulate separation is disclosed. The separator includes a rectangular reservoir tank and a tubular internal filter housing, which supports a filter element inside the reservoir tank. The filter housing extends horizontally inside the reservoir tank with an open distal end disposed within the reservoir tank and a closed proximal end protrudes from the proximal end wall of the reservoir tank. Extending horizontal across substantially the length of the reservoir tank, the filter housing and two internal baffle plates divide the reservoir tank into an upper inlet chamber and two collection chambers.

  • Patent number: 6033462
Abstract: An air/oil separator used with a closed loop oil seal system for a liquid ring vacuum pump, which incorporates a multi-chambered design for facilitating multiple stages of oil particulate separation is disclosed. The separator includes a cylindrical multi-chambered accumulator and a cylindrical filter housing, which supports a conventional filter element. The accumulator has an outer housing and an inner housing, which defines an outer reservoir chamber and an inner reservoir chamber. The accumulator also includes an inner oil conduit extending through the inner reservoir chamber, which deposits the oil discharge into the inner reservoir chamber. A perforated inner baffle is mounted within the inner housing to partially divide the inner reservoir chamber. A second outer baffle is mounted inside the outer reservoir chamber between the outer and inner housings to partially divide the outer reservoir chamber.
