  • Patent number: 7263948
Abstract: The present invention refers to a cleaning method in a milking system (9) comprising a plurality of teat cups (19), each of which is connected to a respective milk line, wherein, during milking of the teats of a milking animal, the plurality of teat cups (19) are attached to the teats of the animal, and vacuum is supplied to the respective milk lines in order to draw milk from the teats of the milking animal. The cleaning comprises the steps of removing milk or other residues present at each of said plurality of teat cups by means of flushing (37) each of said plurality of teat cups with a cleaning fluid supplied via a supply line (36, 34c); evacuating cleaning fluid from each of said plurality of teat cups or from the supply line; and disinfecting at least one of said plurality of teat cups by means of exposing (60) said at lest one of said plurality of teat cups to steam.

  • Publication number: 20050003099
Abstract: A process of the manufacturing of decorative boards with an abrasion resistant surface and edges with joining functionality, the process comprising the steps: a) cutting a carrier board to the desired dimension and molding edges with joining functionality, b) treating at least the upper surface of the board, c) applying radiation curable dry acrylic lacquer powder by means of electrostatic spray nozzles, d) heating the acrylic lacquer so that it melts, e) curing the acrylic lacquer by means of radiation being selected from the group consisting of UV-radiation and electron beam radiation.

  • Publication number: 20020038924
Abstract: A process for the manufacture of a decorative surface element, which element comprises a base layer, a decor and a wear layer of a UV or electron beam curing lacquer. One or more structured surfaces, forming embossing surfaces of one or more rollers or moulds, are positioned on top of the decorative lacquered surface, possibly after having cured the lacquer to a desired viscosity, and are continuously or discontinuously pressed on to this. The lacquer will be provided with a surface structure which enhances the decorative effect of the decor. The wear layer is then completely cured.

  • Patent number: 6255385
Abstract: A polyhydroxy polymer substituted with covalently linked alkene groups, characterized in that the alkene groups are styryl ether groups. A gel obtained by polymerization of a styryl ether substituted polyhydroxy polymer. A surface that has been hydrophilized by adsorption of a styryl ether polyhydroxy polymer.

  • Patent number: 6143853
Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a separation media based on adsorption comprising a polyvinyl ether having different or identical vinyl ether subunits, and towards an insoluble polyvinyl ether comprising free terminal valencies, side hydrogen or methyl groups, as well as plurality of hydrophillic organic groups, wherein hydrogen is replaced by organic residues having affinity to bioorganic molecules.

  • Patent number: 5759404
Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a separation method comprising the steps: (i) contacting an aqueous liquid that contains a dissolved substance that is to be enriched with a polymer under conditions allowing selective partition of said substance to said polymer, whereafter (ii) said polymer containing said substance is removed from said aqueous liquid. The polymer employed is a poly(vinyl ether) having different or identical vinyl ether subunits (1) where X et Y are selected among hydrogen and methyl; and R is selected among organic groups. A plurality of R are equal to a hydrophilic organic group. One or more R comprise a bioaffinity ligand; an ion exchange group, etc. The method may be applied to bioseparations such as gel, affinity, ion exchange and covalent chromatography and corresponding batch procedures. Also disclosed are vinyl ether polymers that can be employed in the method.
