  • Publication number: 20060287179
Abstract: A combi roll includes a shaft having two spaced-apart stop rings a plurality of roll rings placed between the stop rings, which roll rings individually are composed of an outer ring of a hard metal, and a concentric inner ring of a more ductile metal, which is permanently bonded to the outer ring metallurgically, and has a flange that projects a distance axially from an end of the outer ring. The individual roll ring is rigidly connected to the shaft by way of one or more locking pins, which are inserted in through holes in the projecting flange of the inner ring and engage holes in the shaft.

  • Patent number: 6490793
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an as-cast composite roll by metallurgically bonding one or more rings of cemented carbide to a cast iron casing. The composite roll may be used for hot or cold rolling. The cast iron has the following composition in addition to Fe, in weight %, 1.9-2.8% Si, 0.02-0.10% Mg, 0.5-4% Ni, 0.1-1% Mn, balance Fe and a Ceqv=2.5-6.

  • Patent number: 6104348
Abstract: An antenna device for receiving and/or transmitting dual polarized electromagnetic waves, comprising at least one antenna element (7). There are disposed parasitic elements (8, 9) of an electrically conductive material in a region, which surrounds the antenna element and includes the space between and including two parallel planes (2, 1) being defined by a ground plane layer (2) and the antenna element (7), respectively. Each parasitic element (8, 9) comprises at least one elongated, longitudinal portion, extending along an associated lateral side of the antenna element.

  • Patent number: 5498168
Abstract: A device for earthing a bundle of shielded cables as protection against high frequency electromagnetic interference includes a rectangular metal collar in electrically conductive contact with the equipment to which or from which the shielded cables run. The cable shields are exposed and pressed into contact with an electrically conductive base plate in electrical contact with the collar, which includes pair-forming openings in each of two mutually opposing sides. The base plate is provided with pairs of outwardly projecting fingers intended for insertion into some of the pair-forming openings. A spring unit, including a pressure plate, a spring, a locking plate provided with pairs of outwardly projecting fingers, a counter-pressure plate, and a holder device, is intended to be inserted in pair-forming openings at a distance from the base plate via the fingers on the locking plate.

  • Patent number: 4860168
Abstract: The invention relates to a cable channel A for telephone cables (7) in a telephone exchange (4). The cable channel is mounted to join up with a horizontal cable run (3) at a height (H) in the excahnge. The cable run (3) can be placed at different heights (H) in different telephone exchanges, and for enabling the use of a single type of cable channel for the cable runs (3) at different heights (H), the cable channel in accordance with the invention is one such that it is adjustable in height and includes a first part (1), and a second part (2) movable in said first part so that the height of the channel can be varied and adjusted to the height (H) of the respective cable run (3). The telephone cables (7) are taken through the cable channel A to the telephony equipment in a shelf rack (5).
