    Abstract: A weaving or textile machine is provided that has a beamed (20, 21, 22 and 23) base (2) and moving parts, wherein the moving parts, during weaving, cause vibrations (18, 19) which spread to the base (2), and wherein that the beams are joined by or by means of a vibration-absorbing and dimensionally rigid compound (26), which prevents substantial spreading of the vibrations to a foundation (35) supporting the machine (1).
