  • Patent number: 10569912
Abstract: A tamping punch station for filling capsules in a capsule filling machine is described. The machine includes a rotatably drivable dosing disk with bore holes and a filling device for filling the bore holes. Tamping punches and ejection punches are held on a punch support, and vertical movement of the punch support causes the tamping punches to press filling material into the bore holes and the ejection punches to eject pellets created by the tamping punches in the bore holes. A first drive rotates the dosing disk along punches and a second drive moves the punch support. The second drive includes at least two spindle drives acting on the punch support with respectively one spindle nut and respectively one vertical drive spindle guided in the spindle nut and at least two drive motors, which drive respectively one of the spindle drives for vertical movement of the punch support.

  • Patent number: 10449119
Abstract: A dosing station for a capsule filling machine comprises a dosing unit in which capsule lower parts are filled with a filling material via a filling apparatus and a drive unit with at least one drive that drives at least one component of the dosing unit. The drive unit is arranged beneath a supporting plate, and detachable fastening and coupling means detachably fastens the dosing unit on the supporting plate. Where the dosing unit is detachably fastened on the supporting plate, the at least one drive is coupled to the at least one component. In the detached state of the dosing unit from the supporting plate, the coupling of the at least one drive to the at least one component is canceled. In this way, the dosing unit can be removed as a module from the dosing station.

  • Publication number: 20160311565
Abstract: A capsule filling machine for filling capsules includes a machine housing, a machine table, and a conveyor wheel whose perimeter includes capsule holders, each of which has capsule receivers for capsules. A conveyor wheel drive is configured to be rotated incrementally so that the capsule holders move incrementally along a conveyor track. A plurality of process stations are arranged along the conveyor track at or on the machine table and include at least one feeding station, at least one opening station, at least one filling station, at least one closing station, and at least one ejection station. The process stations have process drives for their operation, which are controllable independently of the conveyor wheel drive. A cabinet includes a computer machine for operating the capsule filling machine and controlling the conveyor wheel drive as well as the process drives is connected to the conveyor drive and the process drives.
