  • Publication number: 20150068678
Abstract: Method and device for producing a composite material. The method includes feeding at least two semi-finished webs in their respective longitudinal direction, placing one of the at least two semi-finished webs on top of an other of the at least two semi-finished webs, and connecting the at least two semi-finished webs to one another. Each semi-finished web has fibers fixed in a unidirectionally oriented manner, and, in at least one of the at least two semi-finished webs, the fibers enclose a predetermined angle greater than 0° to the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 8421011
Abstract: A glass pane (1) has an inner side (6) and an outer side (5) and a detector (10) located on the inner side (6) for electromagnetic radiation which, coming from the outer side (5), passes through the glass pane (1) and can be detected by means of the detector. The glass pane (1) is a composite pane, in particular a glass pane of composite safety glass of a motor vehicle, with an inner pane (3) and an outer pane (2), which are joined to each other with the aid of a film (4) arranged between the inner pane (3) and the outer pane (2). In order also to obtain a sufficient intensity of the electromagnetic radiation passing through the glass pane (1) and detectable by the detector (10) in glass panes with a small transmission coefficient, it is proposed that the beam path of the electromagnetic radiation leading to the detector (10) penetrate only the material of the outer pane (2) and pass through the plane of the inner pane (3) in the region of a continuous hole (7).

  • Patent number: 8383988
Abstract: The invention relates to a glass pane, comprising at least two individual panes and an adhesive layer located in between them, with the glass pane having a local heating area which only extends over part of the overall area of the pane and which can be heated by means of a heating element.

  • Patent number: 8187402
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the continuous production of a multidirectional fabric web. The object of the invention is to create a method for the continuous production of a multidirectional fabric web that has a material layer running in a longitudinal direction and thus has sufficient stability against distortions in the fabric. This object is achieved according to the invention in that a continuous fold-winding process of at least one fiber layer running at an angle to the direction of extension of the fabric web to be produced takes place with the enclosing of at least one material web (1) running freely in the spread-out state in the production direction at least in the fold-winding zone. The invention can be used in the production of fabric webs that are used for example as a reinforcement of high-strength plastics.

  • Publication number: 20110076441
Abstract: Semi-finished product, semi-finished product composite formed from semi-finished product, and method and apparatus for forming the semi-finished product. The semi-finished product includes reinforcing fibers and two layers of thermoplastic material. The reinforcing fibers are arranged between the two layers of thermoplastic material.

  • Patent number: 6151923
Abstract: An apparatus for supplying a multi-layer, multiaxial yarn stratum to the knitting site of a warp knitting machine, with endless conveyor chains for guiding the yarn stratum to the knitting site, with at least two multiple yarn guides, which can be moved changeably over both conveyor chains for each yarn sheet and with means for supporting the yarn stratum. The prelaid yarn stratum is supplied in such a manner, that at least one endless conveyor belt is driven synchronously with the conveyor chains and supports the yarn stratum, and is guided over guide rollers mounted on the frame with the distance between the guide roller and the knitting site bridged with the help of supporting guiding elements for the yarn stratum.
