Patent number: 9814182Abstract: An inclined conveyor for a combine harvester has two drive elements which define a conveying direction and revolve in a conveying duct. Conveying duct is divided into an overshot return duct and an undershot conveying duct by a separating element situated between the upper run and the lower run of the drive element. Drive element is interconnected by carriers situated transversely with respect to conveying direction that convey harvested crop in undershot conveying duct. The difference in speed between the carrier bars and harvested crop stream is eliminated, and at least reduced, by additional acceleration of harvested crop stream. Carrier bars serve as carriers, and as acceleration elements for the harvested crop. That is because the cross section of each of the carrier bars viewed in conveying direction, occupies at least 30% of the smallest internal cross section of undershot conveying duct.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2014Date of Patent: November 14, 2017Assignee: Arnold Jäger Holding GmbHInventors: Jan-Harm Mulder, Johan Oord, Sebastian Jäger

Publication number: 20150141098Abstract: An inclined conveyor for a combine harvester has at least two endless traction elements (drive elements) which extend in parallel to one another and which are interconnected by carrier bars. The carrier bars are situated transversely with respect to the conveying direction. The inclined conveyor is configured so that the load on the drive element is reduced due to the low weight of the carrier bars and a lower conveying speed. The carrier bars on the conveyor have at least two rods situated one on top of the other, have a circular cross section, and are fastened to the drive element as individual rods.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2014Publication date: May 21, 2015Inventors: Jan-Harm MULDER, Johan OORD, Sebastian JÄGER

Patent number: 9033139Abstract: Rod belt for rod belt conveyors for agricultural machinery, having rods arranged transversely with respect to the running direction and parallel to one another. Rods at their ends are each connected to a fastening piece which has a flattened and perforated support area with which fastening piece rests on tensile stress-resistant, elastic, continuous belts extending in parallel and is connected by rivets or similar fastening elements which pass through support area and belts, and support area is formed in one piece with a fastening area for rod ends. The rod belt includes fastening pieces which have a simple design and are cost-effectively manufactured. Fastening pieces are designed as bends having a fastening area which, in relation to the installed position, is bent from the plane of support area toward the bottom side of belt and situated parallel to the inner side of belt.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2013Date of Patent: May 19, 2015Assignee: Arnold Jäger Holding GmbHInventors: Sebastian Jäger, Jan-Harm Mulder

Patent number: 9033138Abstract: Rod belt for rod belt conveyors for agricultural machinery includes rods arranged transversely with respect to the running direction and parallel to one another. At least one of the rods has flattened and perforated end areas with which it rests on tensile stress-resistant, elastic, continuous belts which revolve in parallel to one another, and is connected by rivets or similar fastening elements which pass through the end areas and the belts. The rod belt may be produced with a rod division that differs from, and in particular is smaller than, the division of the fastening points on the belts. This is achieved by providing that at least one additional rod is fixedly connected to the at least one rod which is connected to the belts, and the at least one additional rod is free of contact with the belts.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2013Date of Patent: May 19, 2015Assignee: Arnold Jäger Holding GmbHInventor: Jan-Harm Mulder
