  • Publication number: 20060100582
Abstract: An indwelling catheter arrangement includes a cannula, the proximal end of which starts from a receiver and the distal end of which has an opening, as well as a flexible catheter, which can be guided through the receiver and through the cannula opening. A guiding element extends during the placing of the catheter, the guiding element remaining in the catheter after the placement and being fixed in a defined position in relation to the catheter. This arrangement provides a catheter which has a desired flexibility and, simultaneously, cannot slip in an uncontrolled manner after placement.
