Abstract: An apparatus for palletizing substantially cylindrical objects. The apparatus comprises at least one position-defining support device for at least one pallet, a supply of the cylindrical objects for palletizing, at least one holder for a roll of material intended for arrangement between the palletized objects and a handling device for removing the cylindrical objects from the supply and placing them on the pallet. The apparatus also comprises at least two support members each arranged on a side of a base of the position-defining support device. The handling device is adapted to removably place the at least one holder for the roll of material on different support devices after a number of objects for palletizing have been placed on the pallet.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for arranging articles in a container, wherein the articles are stacked within the container. In one embodiment, a container is fed in a substantially horizontal upper position and transferred to a nonhorizontal position. Articles are horizontally fed to the container while the container is in the nonhorizontal position, and the articles are stacked in rows within the container. The articles are arranged such that the container can be used to display the articles for sale.

Abstract: A device for group-wise packaging of objects such as jars, which device consists substantially of a frame (1), a belt-conveyor (12) carried by the frame, a grouping station disposed along the belt conveyor, a station for forming and feeding of a tray under the group, a station for arranging a covering material over the group of objects standing on the tray and a supply station (5) for the blanks (C) disposed standing in a row which are to be folded in each case into a tray; wherein the supply station (5) is provided with a carrier (9) for accomodating a second row of upright blanks (C), which carrier (9) can be conveyed from a first position for the arrangement of the row of blanks into a second delivery position and vice versa, so making it possible to arrange the blanks at a location that is more easily accessible for personnel and to doubling the time interval for replenishing the blanks, resulting in personnel having more time for supervising of the further packaging process.
