  • Patent number: 9835391
Abstract: A method for the heat recovery from a tunnel cooling apparatus, having one or several cooling cells for cooling products in containers by means of a cooling agent circulating in a coolant circuit, and a heat exchanger; including: controlling the circulating quantity of the coolant, and controlling the temperature of the coolant, wherein both the circulating quantity and the temperature of the coolant are measured and controlled on the basis of comparisons with predefined parameters, so that the thermal yield of the heat exchanger is optimized.

  • Publication number: 20140110360
Abstract: A device for thermally treating products in containers, including supply and discharge conveyors for containers; with at least one irrigation or spraying zone for irrigating or spraying the containers with a process liquid, for example water; and a circulation circuit for at least partially reusing said process liquid, the circulation circuit including at least one pump; with at least one separation unit with several essentially parallel lamellae for cleaning the process liquid from particles, for example broken glass and/or sand, and the pump pumps the process liquid along the lamella.

  • Patent number: 8635626
Abstract: A topology reader may determine a topology of a Non-Uniform Memory Access (NUMA) architecture including a number of, and connections between, a plurality of sockets, each socket including one or more cores and at least one memory configured to execute a plurality of threads of a software application. A core list generator may generate, for each designated core of the NUMA architecture, and based on the topology, a proximity list listing non-designated cores in an order corresponding to a proximity of the non-designated cores to the designated core. A core selector may determine, at a target core and during the execution of the plurality of threads, that the target core is executing an insufficient number of the plurality of threads, and may select a source core at the target core, according to the proximity list associated therewith, for subsequent transfer of a transferred thread from the selected source core to the target core for execution thereon.

  • Publication number: 20120312419
Abstract: A method for hot filling of liquids uses a flash pasteurizer including a first heat exchanger, a filling station and a cooling tunnel including a plurality of cooling cells. The liquids are filled into containers in the filling station. The filled containers are cooled in the cooling tunnel using a cooling liquid. The liquids are heated before being filled into the containers, by feeding thermal energy from the cooling liquid that was heated during the cooling of the filled containers to the flash pasteurizer using a separate heat pump.

  • Patent number: 7895226
Abstract: Methods and systems for converting standardized, structured update requests into native business object commands are provided. The structured update requests may be defined in a business object-specific structured query language (BQL). A BQL engine may translate the structured update request into a command formatted for use by the appropriate business object or a programming interface in communication with the business object.

  • Publication number: 20090012948
Abstract: Methods and systems for converting standardized, structured queries into native business object queries are provided. The structured queries may be defined in a business object-specific structured query language (BQL). A BQL engine can translate the structured query into a query suited for use by the appropriate business object. In an embodiment, the BQL engine and the related query language provide the primary interface to backend applications and business objects. Embodiments may include a search infrastructure to create indexed views of business objects and a local client proxy to handle requests not handled by indexed views.
