  • Publication number: 20210124240
Abstract: A lens hood is used with a camera unit of a camera system for capturing still or motion images. The camera unit contains an image sensor and an objective lens mount arranged along an optical axis of the camera system. The objective lens mount guides an image-generating light beam from the environment including the object to a sensor surface of the image sensor. The lens hood is positioned on the objective lens mount or between the objective lens mount and the image sensor. The lens hood has a frame structure having frame structure portions and an aperture for the image-generating light beam. The aperture is formed by one of the frame structure portions. A circumferential extent of the aperture formed by the frame structure portion is a closed polygonal chain including a plurality of polygon segments, extending perpendicularly to the optical axis, each having at least three edges.

  • Publication number: 20170115468
Abstract: Folding optics for a laser pulse compressor contain at least two reflecting elements, each having a flat reflecting surface, which reflecting elements are spatially fixed by a retaining device by a frictional connection in such a way that the two reflecting surfaces are arranged at a definable angle with respect to each other. Accordingly, each of the two reflecting elements is oriented along a respective side surface of an angle block, wherein the two side surfaces are arranged at a definable angle with respect to each other and the angle block serves as an abutment in order to achieve the frictional connection to the retaining device.

  • Publication number: 20160228986
Abstract: A method and a laser assembly process a work piece using a pulsed laser beam. In the method, during processing the lateral distribution of the spectral phase is varied non-linearly over the duration of a laser pulse and/or at least between two laser pulses that at least partially overlap on the work piece.
