Patent number: 12281496Abstract: A device for latching a door of an oxygen mask container in an aircraft cabin includes a door for an oxygen mask container having an inner side, outer side and hinge, a first latching device attached to the inner side, and a second latching device movable relative to the first latching device to selectively engage or disengage the second latching device. A retaining element is attachable to a structural part inside the oxygen mask container. A test control device on the inner side of the door includes a movable hook element and can move the hook element to a first or second position. The hook element can engage the retaining element in the first position to restrict an opening degree of the door. The hook element is placed in the second position such that when the door is opened, the hook element is moved past the retaining element.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2023Date of Patent: April 22, 2025Assignee: Airbus Operations GmbHInventors: Florian Müller, Jan-Luca Hünting

Publication number: 20200179756Abstract: A configurable flexible putting green system and methods provide a golf putting experience on a highly configurable simulated putting green surface. A movable, flexible turf belt is tensioned between storage devices at each end of the turf belt. A portion of the turf belt is configured as a putt spot, supporting the player's weight and simulating a real putting experience. The system is provided with actuators underneath the turf belt for creating a variety of undulations, inclinations, and declinations so as to simulate a wide variety of golf putting scenarios. A golf computer is provided for controlling the turf belt and undulators to simulate golf putting conditions according to a database of simulated golf putting terrain matching existing golf courses.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2020Publication date: June 11, 2020Inventors: Albertus Maria Claessen, Jan Lucas Kuiper

Patent number: 10357686Abstract: Virtual golf system for playing golf, comprising a plurality of trackable golf balls, wherein each golf ball comprises transmitting means for broadcasting electromagnetic beacon signals for detecting a position of the golf ball, a position determination unit comprising three receiving antenna's arranged for receiving beacon signals broadcasted by any of said plurality of trackable golf balls, and wherein said position determination unit is arranged to determine a position of said golf ball on a driving range based on time differences of a broadcasted beacon signal received by said receiving antenna's. A plurality of trackable golf balls and a plurality of players may be active at the same time. Trackable golf balls may be paired with specific players. A game controller advances a virtual game of golf each time a trackable golf ball is stroked by a player.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2017Date of Patent: July 23, 2019Inventors: Jan Lucas Kuiper, Albertus Maria Claessen

Publication number: 20070219492Abstract: An injection syringe with retractable injection needle has a liquid container with a needle opening, as well as a plunger/plunger rod assembly which is moveable over a travel in the liquid container. Furthermore, an injection needle is provided, which in an active position projects out of the liquid container through the needle opening and in a retracted position is located fully within the liquid container. The injection syringe has a travel limiter which is activated after an injection has been administered using the injection syringe and subsequently the injection needle with needle mount has been moved into the retracted position by the plunger/plunger rod assembly being retracted, after which it restricts the plunger/plunger rod assembly in the event of a movement towards the needle opening, in such a manner that the injection needle cannot be forced out of the liquid container.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 8, 2005Publication date: September 20, 2007Inventors: Jan Lucas, Bjorn Goossens
