Abstract: A stacking and dispensing module (2) for use in an automatic teller machine (4), the module is configured to be arranged in connection with a banknote storage unit (6) comprising a banknote tray (8) on which banknotes (10) are stacked, the stacking and dispensing module (2) is configured to be in a banknote stacking mode, when banknotes are stacked in said storage unit (6), and in a banknote dispensing mode, when banknotes are dispensed from said storage unit (6). A stacking wheel member (12) is active both during the banknote stacking mode and during the banknote dispensing mode, and that the rotation of the stacking wheel member (12) is configured to be controlled by a first direct current (DC) motor (20), and the rotation of a dispensing wheel member (16) is configured to be controlled by a second DC motor (22).

Abstract: An arrangement for effective handling of sheet material, such as banknotes, or transferred messages printed on sheet material, wherein the arrangement comprises sheet bundling means (33), a store (25, 27) of so-called enveloping material (26, 28), means (30, 32,-34) for enveloping bundles of sheet material with material (26, 28) taken from the store (25, 29) of enveloping material, wherein said store includes two mutually co-acting rolls (25′, 27′) of enveloping material; and processors for co-ordinating and controlling the co-action between the various units in accordance with a predetermined pattern. The store of enveloping material (25, 27) has pulse generating elements (2521, 2531, 2522, 2532). Pulse reading elements (29) for reading the pulses generated in response to roll movement and sending these pulses to the processor are provided on a fixed body (20) of the arrangement and in close connection with the pulse generating elements.

Abstract: An arrangement for infeeding and outfeeding documents, such as banknotes, cheques, etc., having a command system for externally controlling the functions thereof, and a storage system for storing the documents fed into the arrangement between mutually coacting belts. The storage system has allocated, well-defined and registered document storage positions for incoming documents. A detector system functions to identify incoming documents prior to storage of the documents in the well-defined and unoccupied positions.
