Abstract: A fuel injection system for injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine includes at least one fuel injector and a fuel-distributor line, which, for each fuel injector, is provided with a connecting piece that is able to be connected to an intake-side end of the fuel injector, one annular seal being provided in each case to sealingly join the fuel injector to the associated connecting piece of the fuel-distributor line. The connecting piece is formed in such a way that, following installation of the seal, the end of the connecting piece facing the fuel injector is able to be inserted into the inflow-side end of the fuel injector, a spring element being positioned between the connecting piece and an inner support surface of the fuel injector.

Abstract: A fuel regulating device which is fastened with a connecting fitting to a fuel housing. When the pressure regulating valve is installed on the fuel housing, the connecting fitting fits in a connecting piece provided on the fuel housing. The pressure regulating valve includes a valve housing and a connecting fitting which can be pivoted in relation to the valve housing. Because of the pivot bearing between the connecting fitting and the valve housing, considerable dimensional tolerances can be compensated for, which essentially reduces manufacture costs. The pressure regulating device is particularly suited for fuel delivery systems of vehicles with an internal combustion engine.

Abstract: An arrangement for supplying an internal combustion engine with fuel has a supply container with an opening, a feed pump insertable into the supply container through the opening, a closure part closing the opening and provided with a pressure regulator having a pressure chamber with a connection to a pressure side of the feed pump to an internal combustion engine and to an unloading chamber. The pressure regulator has a spring-loaded closing member controlling the connection with the unloading chamber and cooperating with a seat so that after exceeding of a predetermined pressure in the pressure chamber the connection of the pressure chamber to the unloading chamber is released. The closure part is composed of a synthetic plastic material and having a flange-like base body which closes the opening. The base body is provided with a depression and a pipe which is formed of one piece with the base body and extends into the depression to form the connection of the pressure chamber with the unloading chamber.
