Abstract: An arrangement for feeding flat, thin objects, such as valuable documents in the form of banknotes, cheques, etc., along a transport path, including object straightening and repositioning means which straighten or reposition the objects as they pass sequentially along the transport path. The straightening means includes rotating driven object straightening rollers that lie briefly against the objects as the objects pass along the transport path. The straightening means includes two rotatable, driven straightening rollers, each mounted on a driving shaft and intended to lie in abutment with the objects. The straightening means further includes control means which causes the rollers to move in accordance with the deviation of respective objects from an intended correct position on the transport path.

Abstract: An arrangement for infeeding and outfeeding documents, such as banknotes, cheques, etc., having a command system for externally controlling the functions thereof, and a storage system for storing the documents fed into the arrangement between mutually coacting belts. The storage system has allocated, well-defined and registered document storage positions for incoming documents. A detector system functions to identify incoming documents prior to storage of the documents in the well-defined and unoccupied positions.

Abstract: A currency dispensing apparatus has a plurality of customer receipt openings to which an ordered number of banknotes can be sent from a store of banknotes in response to an order signal. The banknotes are dispensed to a collector station through a first feed mechanism in response to the transmitted order signal, and from the collector station to a selected receipt opening by a second feed mechanism which cooperates with a switching device for determining the direction of feed of the second feed mechanism.

Abstract: A device for feeding bank notes, receipts, tickets or similar items from a bundle of such items. This device includes a wheel, roller or belt arranged at one end of the bundle for dispensing, during operation, the outer most bank note ticket or like item from the bundle. The machine is characterized by a lifting mechanism arranged to lift the bundle towards the wheel, roller or similar device, depending on the distance between sequentially dispensed bank notes, tickets or similar items.

Abstract: Separate feeders are provided in line above and overlying a plurality of longitudinally aligned magazines with the feeders removing banknotes from their magazines and feeding the banknotes commonly through the aligned feeders towards a junction common to all magazines for discharging banknotes through a dispensing aperture of a banknote discharging apparatus.
