  • Publication number: 20240012363
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1-1f) for displaying a timeline of at least two successive events and/or activities to be carried out, said device having a main body (2-2e) with at least two display fields (4, 5, 6-4f, 5f, 6f) and a movable indicator (8-8c; 14; 14e; 14f).The movable indicator (8-8c; 14; 14e; 14f) is expediently designed to point to one of the display fields in order to indicate the event and/or the activity to be carried out. Advantageously, a user who is cognitively impaired is provided by the device according to the invention with an easily understandable time schedule independent of a time of day. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for displaying a timeline of at least two successive events and/or activities to be carried out, in which a movable indicator (8-8c; 14; 14e; 14f) points to one of at least two display fields (4, 5, 6-4f, 5f, 6f).

  • Publication number: 20040169061
Abstract: The invention relates to a welding accessory (1) to support and centre two pipe ends (2a, 2b) to be butt-welded. The welding accessory (1) comprises a central guide frame, (3, 4, 5a-d), over which the two pipes ends (2a, 2b) can be slid, provided with supports (13a-d, 16a-d) and with pressure means, for pressing the supports against the pipes walls. The supports (13a-d) have a triangular or trapezial shape and have a radius of curvature of the pipes. The space between the supports (13a-d) is filled by auxiliary supports (16a-d), also having a triangular or trapezial shape, which are pulled in place by springs (18a-d).

  • Patent number: 6440225
Abstract: A method is provided for stripping a polymer film from a floor surface, comprising the steps of: (a) applying a concentrated alkaline stripper solution including an alkaline agent and a solvent, to the polymer film; (b) allowing this concentrated alkaline solution to chemically act on the polymer film during a contact time of at least 5 seconds; (c) scrubbing the polymer film with a scrubbing device while diluting the concentrated alkaline solution with water, so as to obtain a sludge; (d) vacuum cleaning the floor surface by suction of the sludge, whereby this method is carried out using one floor treating machine. This method is an integrated floor stripping procedure which is considerably more effective than known stripping methods of the prior art.

  • Patent number: 6368420
Abstract: A chemical cleaning system for a multi-tank or a single-tank mechanical warewashing machine is provided, having at least two separate components for aqueous dissolution or dilution to respective use concentrations, a first component comprising an enzyme or a mixture of an enzyme and a cleaning agent, and a second component comprising a bleach, wherein the first component is introduced into a wash zone or step and wherein the second component is introduced into a post-rinse zone or step.

  • Patent number: 6277153
Abstract: A chemical cleaning system for a multi-tank or a single-tank laundry washing machine, having at least two separate components for aqueousdissolution or dilution to respective use concentrations, a first component comprising a proteolytic enzyme, and a second component comprising an imidoperoxycarboxylic acid, particularly phthaloylaminoperoxycaprbic acid (PAP), wherein the first component is introduced into a prewash zone or step, and the second component is introduced into a main wash zone or step. When using this system, it was found that effective cleaning could be obtained even at relatively low main wash temperatures of 45-55° C. As a result, much less energy was needed and a considerable reduction of textile damage was observed as compared with cleaning systems of the prior art.
