  • Publication number: 20240116316
Abstract: A two-wheeled vehicle pneumatic tire having a tread, a tire carcass, tire sidewalls, and two bead regions with a bead protective strip. The tire carcass is formed from a first carcass inlay and a second carcass inlay. The second carcass inlay is arranged radially inwardly of the first carcass inlay, and extends from a crown region (17) of the two-wheeled vehicle pneumatic tire and terminates at a second carcass inlay end under the bead protective strip. The two-wheeled vehicle pneumatic tire provides improved puncture protection whilst maintaining good rolling resistance. This is achieved in that the first carcass inlay is guided with a first carcass inlay turn-up over the particular tire sidewall as far as under the tread to a first carcass inlay end, and terminates there at the first carcass inlay end.

  • Patent number: 10982850
Abstract: The present invention relates to a flow measurement system for controlling a gas fireplace (1) comprising a flow passage (11) in fluid communication with the gas fireplace by use of a differential pressure pressostat (13). A first gauge connector (14) is in the flow passage and connected to a first pressure sensor in the differential pressure pressostat for measuring a total pressure in a fluid flowing in the flow passage. A second gauge connector (15) is arranged near the first gauge connector and connected to a second pressure sensor in the differential pressure pressostat for measuring a static pressure in the fluid flowing in the flow passage. Based on these measures a dynamic pressure, and there from the flow velocity, in the fluid flowing in the flow passage is determined and used to switch off the gas fireplace, when the flow becomes below a set threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20170122794
Abstract: A combination measuring device for measuring the weight and a further body parameter of a subject includes a weighing scale, a measuring apparatus for the further body parameter, and a data acquisition and processing unit to control the measuring process of the scale and measuring apparatus. The device acquires from the scale measuring signals representing a weight as a function of time over a measuring period, processes the signals, and outputs measurement results. The data acquisition and processing unit determines a weight measuring result from the measuring signals of the scale; monitors over the measuring period a deviation of the measuring signals from the weight measuring result; and, in case the deviation exceeds a predetermined first threshold value, generates a suspicion message indicative of possible movement of the subject. The suspicion message is used in an examination of the reliability of the measuring result for the further body parameter.
