  • Patent number: 9937738
Abstract: Inkjet printer for the labeling of goods having a print head having a cylindrically shaped housing. A latching lug, and a circumferentially extending groove are formed on the housing in a rear region thereof, in the vicinity of a rear face of the housing. Further, it has an annular collar having an inner wall adapted to the housing. On the one hand, the housing is capable of being fixed and, on the other hand, it is rotatable and axially movable, relative to the annular collar. The annular collar has a bore hole axially aligned with the groove, and a fixing projection located in the bore hole. Further, it has several latching recesses for the latching lug. When the latching lug is positioned in one of the latching recesses, the bore hole is located radially above the groove.

  • Publication number: 20170291424
Abstract: An inkjet printer for the labeling of goods has a housing having outlet openings for ink droplets on a front face, a printing mechanism, and two hydraulic couplings that are accessible on the outside of the housing. Each hydraulic coupling has a mechanical connection part and an automatically closing first valve. Each automatically closing first valve has a first valve body and a first pusher connected to the first valve body. A filter has a filter housing in which the filter medium is accommodated and on which two hydraulic mating couplings are disposed that are accessible from the outside of the filter housing. In a joined state of the two hydraulic couplings and the hydraulic mating couplings, the pushers are each in contact with each other and respectively keep the valve bodies connected to them in an opened state.

  • Patent number: 9061507
Abstract: An inkjet printer for the labeling of goods includes a main device having at least one outlet opening for ink, in particular for ink droplets, at least one storage container for a liquid flowing through the outlet opening, such as, for example, ink, pigments or solvents, the storage container being detachably connected to the main device, and liquid and mechanical couplings. The liquid coupling has a first coupling portion on the main device and a second coupling portion on the storage container. The mechanical coupling includes a first coupling means on the main device and a second coupling means on the storage container. The storage container further includes a ring-shaped transponder having a ring-shaped second antenna extending about the second coupling portion and a control unit storing data on the liquid contained in the storage container.

  • Patent number: 7434900
Abstract: The present invention relates to an inkjet printer for printing on goods, wherein said printer comprises a computer for controlling the operation process, at least one replaceable tank in the shape of a bottle filled with a previously known quantity of a liquid, an intermediate container arranged in the printer and filled with the liquid from the tank as well as a device also arranged in the printer for detecting the quantity of liquid drawn from the tank. The invention is characterized in that the tank includes an identification element comprising a coded piece of information related to the liquid it contains. The identification elements is inputted into the computer when a new tank is mounted, while said computer comprises a verification program for checking the inputted identification element and for authorizing normal operation of the inkjet printer only when one at least selected verification criterion is correct, such as the use-by date.

  • Patent number: 4862192
Abstract: The ink jet matrix printer, with an ink system, includes a transport device for transferring thick ink from a first supply container and, independently thereof, solvent from a second supply container, into an ink chamber. Ink from this ink chamber is supplied under pressure to a write head. Ink is returned into the ink chamber via a collection channel, located across from the write head and intended for ink droplets which have not been diverted for writing purposes. The transport device uses pressurized air to transport the ink between an ink container, connected to the write head, a mixer container, connected to the tawo supply containers, and a collection container, connected to the collection channel. The mixer container can alternatively be connected to a suction line or a pressure line.
