  • Patent number: 11929527
Abstract: A fuel cell device of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The fuel cell device includes a fuel cell, a supply air path leading to the fuel cell for a cathode supply air flow, and an exhaust air path leading away from the fuel cell for a cathode exhaust air flow. The supply air path and the exhaust air path are routed through a humidifier that humidifies the supply air and dehumidifies the exhaust air. The exhaust air path is further routed through a water separator that removes water from the exhaust air to provide evaporation water. A heat exchanger for cooling the fuel cell is provided that has an evaporative cooler for cooling the heat exchanger. The evaporative cooler is assigned to the water separator in fluidic communication and is supplied with evaporation water by the water separator.

  • Publication number: 20240077330
Abstract: A method and a first apparatus for determining a highly accurate position of a vehicle. In the method, several localization methods for determining an initial position are performed, wherein each localization method is designed to determine a position of the vehicle with a particular uncertainty, depending on the respective localization method. A comparison of the respectively determined positions with their uncertainties is performed and the initial position is determined depending thereon. Starting from the initial position, a map is subsequently provided, which at least partially represents an environment of the vehicle. Environmental data values are sensed by means of an environmental sensor system of the vehicle. The highly accurate position of the vehicle is determined by a comparison of the sensed environmental data values to the map.

  • Publication number: 20180195898
Abstract: The invention relates to a radiation source including: an illuminant; a first optical element; and a sensor. The sensor is designed appropriately and is connected to the first optical element appropriately such that the sensor can be used to determine a change of a parameter of the first optical element over time, whereby the parameter affects an optical property of the radiation source. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for the producing a product involving the provision of a radiation source according to the invention as well as to a use of the radiation source to increase the efficiency of conversions or changes of state of educts to products.
