  • Patent number: 7111439
Abstract: A wrapping machine and a method for wrapping a plastic foil web (F) around an object. A gripping and cutting device (11) is connected to a lifting frame (3) supporting a circular guide track of a foil dispenser (6) so as to be vertically movable with the lifting frame. In the method, the wrapping action is started from a freely chosen point relative to the vertical direction of the object and ended correspondingly at a freely chosen point relative to the vertical direction of the object.

  • Patent number: 6945429
Abstract: A novel fluid supply cup comprises a flexible liner integral with a container having an opening and a vent. A novel method of manufacturing a lined container comprises the steps of molding a container having a vented thick-walled portion and an integral flexible thin-walled liner, and folding the thin-walled liner into the thick-walled portion. Finally, a novel method of applying a fluid comprises the steps of providing a flexible liner integral with a container having an opening and a vent, loading fluid into the liner, engaging the container with a fluid applicator, flowing the fluid out of the liner into the fluid applicator, collapsing the liner, and flowing the fluid of the fluid applicator.

  • Publication number: 20050127130
Abstract: A pin driver usable with a frame tool for driving pins into a frame element having a reciprocating driver blade moveable between a retracted position and an extended position, a guide shoe associated with the driver blade for guiding the pin from a ready position to a driven position, and a hammer arm assembly mounted in operational relationship to the guide shoe configured to strike and bend the pin upon reaching the driven position.

  • Patent number: 6712292
Abstract: An adjustable adapter includes two arms, each having an axis, a surface substantially normal to the axis, wherein the surfaces of the arms face each other, an end and a passageway for fluid communication between the end and the opening, wherein one of the arm ends is for connection to an inlet of an applicator and the other arm end is for connection to an outlet of a container, and a fastener for pivotally coupling the arms. One of the arm surfaces is provided with a groove in fluid communication with both arm openings. The groove is sealed to prevent fluid from leaking from between the surfaces. When the fastener is in a rotation-resisting mode, the fastener forces the surfaces of the arm toward one another sufficiently to increase friction and resist rotation therebetween, and when the fastener is in a rotation-permitting mode, the fastener releases the surfaces sufficiently to decrease friction and permit rotation therebetween.

  • Patent number: 5542508
Abstract: A fluid free damper, comprising a spindle member; housing means mounted for relative eccentric rotation with respect to the spindle member; and engagement means interposed between the spindle member and the housing means for rotation along with one of the housing means and the spindle member with respect to the other one of the housing means and the spindle member so as to be deformably compressed between the spindle member and the housing means and thereby generate a resistive damping force between the housing means and the spindle member in response to the eccentric rotation of the one of the housing means and spindle member with respect to the other one of the housing means and the spindle member.
