Abstract: Water craft comprising a hull, with an opening and a lowerable segment arranged in said opening. The lowerable segment is coupled to the hull via a lifting mechanism for lowering or raising the lowerable segment with respect to the hull between a first position in which an outer surface of a bottom wall of the segment is substantially flush with the outer surface of a bottom of the hull adjacent to the segment, and a second position wherein the segment is arranged below the water line of the hull. The lowerable segment comprises a lower watertight compartment and an upper compartment that can at least partially be filled with water when the segment is lowered and can be drained when the segment is raised. When in the first position, a wall between the lower and upper compartment is arranged at a level at or near the water line.

Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly, discharge device and method for the production of pancakes. The assembly includes a conveyor having a heatable carrier on which the pancakes to be made are conveyed; and, a first discharge device wherein the first discharge device is provided with several nozzles for each time discharging a preset quantity of pancake batter for the nozzle in question onto the carrier. The preset quantity of pancake batter for the nozzle in question and a conveyance speed of the conveyor are set such that the preset quantity of pancake batter for the nozzle in question forms a line on the carrier in the conveyance direction. The several nozzles may be connected to a reservoir for the pancake batter. The discharge device may include a pressure regulator for keeping the pressure in the reservoir substantially constant during discharging pancake batter.

Abstract: Method and assembly for making dough products built up from a batter, such as pancakes. In the method use is made of a conveyor including a heatable carrier on which the pancakes to be made are conveyed, and with a first food jet printer. The method comprises the steps of: applying a layer of cooking oil (or a comparable shortening) on the carrier, and the first food jet printer applying a quantity of pancake batter on the layer of cooking oil applied on the carrier, wherein the carrier is moved with respect to the food jet printer by the conveyor, and wherein the food jet printer dispenses a preset quantity of pancake batter per position on the carrier.

Abstract: A memory controller 2 for controlling DDR SDRAM includes a physical layer block 10 connected to output pads 18 for driving the output pads with electrical signals, and a memory control block 12 for generating and receiving data signals, address signals and control signals and passing them to the physical layer block which converts these signals into the electrical signals actually transmitted from the controller. A multiplexer 16 is provided, not between the physical layer block 10 and the output pads 18, but between the memory control block 12 and the physical layer block 10.

Abstract: A memory controller for a multiple data rate RAM memory module is provided. Said controller comprises a PLL unit (PLL) for generating different clock phases (clk, clk90, clk180) from a reference clock (ref clk). In addition, a controllable delay unit (CDU) for delaying a strobe signal (dqs) is provided.

Abstract: Storage devices (2) receiving first data pieces having first formats and supplying second data pieces having second formats different from the first formats, store a set of first data pieces and a subset of second data pieces in a storage medium (23). A processor (20) searches the storage medium (23) for a predefined second data piece. In response to a positive search result, the predefined second data piece is supplied to a reproduction device (3) for being reproduced without any transcoding being necessary, to save processing capacity and power consumption. In response to a negative search result, due to having stored only a subset of second data pieces in the storage medium (23), to save storage capacity, a corresponding first data piece is read out from the storage medium (23) and a transcoder (22) transcodes this corresponding first data piece into the predefined second data piece, after which the predefined second data piece is supplied to the reproduction device (3).
