  • Patent number: 5118224
Abstract: The invention relates to a mortar transport apparatus, consisting essentially of a rotor comprising cylindrical mortar transport chambers, the rotor being arranged between stationary sealing plates and being adapted to be driven by a motor, a feed hopper arranged above the rotor, the feed hopper being adapted to fill the mortar transport chambers via a filling hole provided in the sealing plate situated above the rotor, a blow-off chamber arranged under the lower sealing plate and adapted to have a transport hose connected to it, the blow-off chamber being adapted to be filled via a mortar discharge opening in the lower sealing plate, a duct for supplying air under pressure terminating in a slit-shaped opening in the upper sealing plate above the mortar transport chamber which communicates with the blow-off chamber for driving out the mortar present in the transport chamber, air being supplied to the blow-off chamber at the location opposite the transport hose connection, for pneumatic transport of the mortar

  • Patent number: 4214855
Abstract: A peristaltic type pump comprising a pump housing having a circular supporting track for a pump hose and a member mounted rotatably within the pump housing. The member has at two diametrically opposite points, seen in radial direction, dimensions that are substantially equal to the internal radius of the supporting track reduced by the thickness of the pump hose in squeezed shut condition. The rotatable pumping member has a substantially elliptical shape, while the pump hose can be squeezed shut by flattened portions of the pumping member which are substantially perpendicular to the ends of the major axis of said ellipse. The lengths of said portions in tangential direction is substantially equal to the internal diameter of the pump hose, while said flattened portions are adapted for sliding movement over the pump hose when the pumping member is rotating.

  • Patent number: 4110061
Abstract: A peristaltic pump, in particular for pumping concrete, cement, and other mixtures containing liquid. The pump has a hose having layers of helically wound reinforcing threads embedded in the wall thereof. The angle of pitch of the windings in one layer is opposite to that in the other layer. The hose is fastened at the delivery end, and the angle of crossing, opening in the longitudinal direction of the hose, between the windings in the different layers is larger than the equilibrium angle.
