  • Patent number: 12076683
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for ameliorating deposits in selective catalytic reduction systems for the reduction of nitrogen oxide emissions in steam methane reformers. The system includes positioning a dual stage refractory particulate (RP) filter placed in an upstream airflow from a Selective Catalytic Reduction System (SCRS). The first stage is formed of a perforated steel plate with a second stage formed of a wire mesh screen. The system may employ air cannons to clean each of the first stage and the second stages.

  • Publication number: 20200087015
Abstract: A label applicator device for use with a printer or combination printer/cutting device for applying a printed label to an object. The device comprises a mounting plate for mechanically connecting the device to the printer or combination printer/cutting device, a positioning arm, an adjusting element, and a tamping plate attached to the adjusting element. The positioning arm movably retains the adjusting element to control the depth that the tamping plate moves when applying a label exiting the printer or combination printer/cutting device to a product. The device further comprises an electronic interface port for electrically communicating with the printer or combination printer/cutting device. Alternatively, a printer or a combination printer/cutting device may be directly integrated into the label applicator device. The label applicator device is adaptable for use with both new and existing printers and cutting devices.

  • Publication number: 20170200073
Abstract: A high speed tabletop and industrial printer is disclosed with integrated high speed RFID encoding and verification at the same time. The industrial printer simultaneously prints on and electronically encodes/verifies RFID labels, tags, and/or stickers attached to a continuous web. The industrial printer comprises a lighted sensor array for indexing the printing to the RFID tags; and a cutter powered from the industrial printer for cutting the web that the RFID tags are disposed on. The industrial printer comprises two RFID reader/writers that are individually controlled. Specifically, one of the RFID reader/writers comprises the ability to electronically encode the RFID tags while the web is moving; and the second RFID reader/writer uses an additional RFID module and antenna on the printer for verifying the data encoded to the RFID tags.

  • Patent number: 8976212
Abstract: The present invention discloses a printer, specifically an edge justified printer, having a housing. The printer further comprises a mounting assembly that holds printable media and a printhead assembly. The printhead assembly of the present invention has a printhead cantilevered to a mounting member by a bracket. The printer further comprises a plurality of adjusting devices wherein each of the adjustive devices includes an adjusting member. The adjusting member(s) allows for pressure to be applied at the end or edge of the printhead and less pressure at the other end or edge of the printhead.

  • Patent number: 8783981
Abstract: The present invention provides a reusable and collapsible take-up core for a printer. The core is generally a hollow member having an interior bored mated to fit over a spindle. The core comprises a wall having an interior and exterior surface, at least one axially extending ridge formed on the interior surface of the wall of the core, and an axially extending relief groove formed on the exterior surface of the wall of the core. The take-up core of the present invention provides a more efficient, less time consuming, less messy method and device for unrolling the used or spent material off the core. A method for discarding spent material (i.e. release liner) from a core of a take-up assembly of a printer is also provided.
