    Abstract: A method for controlling a drainage pump configured to operate at a variable operational speed, and a drainage pump assembly so controlled. The drainage pump has a drive unit including an electrical motor and a drive shaft, and a hydraulic unit with an impeller operatively connected to the electrical motor via the drive shaft. The method includes continuously operating the drainage pump at a positive operational speed with default operation at a predetermined idle operational speed, and intermittently detecting whether the drainage pump is snoring or not snoring. The operational speed is decreased by one step when snoring is detected, and increased by one step when snoring is not detected.

    Abstract: A pump having a drive unit with an electric motor, a hydraulic unit connected to the electric motor, and an integrated control unit operatively connected to the electric motor and configured for monitoring and controlling the pump. An integrated pressure sensor, connected to the control unit, has a fixed reference pressure. The control unit determines a liquid level of a liquid surrounding the pump based on a relation between an actual value of the pressure sensor and a reference value. A method for calibrating the pump comprises initiating pumping, continuing pumping until the liquid level is equal to a predetermined calibration level, determining the actual pressure value when the liquid level is equal to the predetermined calibration level, and calibrating the pump by setting a new reference pressure value corresponding to the actual pressure value.

A first conduit extends between the pump chamber of the drainage pump and the belly of the sedimentation trap. The first conduit includes a non-return valve. The outlet opening of the sedimentation trap is configured to be connected to a second conduit.

In some embodiments, a driver circuit drives an output node either high or low during a first phase of each clock cycle, and a precharge circuit then precharges the output node to an intermediate voltage during a second phase of the clock cycle in preparation for the following clock cycle. Some embodiments include source-follower configured FETs to precharge, wherein these FETs turn off once the output voltage reaches an intermediate value.

    Abstract: Logic unit cells are disclosed, consisting of an array of high speed logic gates, the outputs of which are wired together and coupled to a low power driver. High speed and switching rates are achieved by using very fast logic gates which have no gain and make use of a wired logic function in order to effect two levels of logic without adding the propagation delay through another logic gate. These arrays of logic gates are coupled to drivers which restore logic levels and provide the necessary power for driving interconnect capacitances while consuming and dissipating a minimum of power in the process. Another logic circuit discloses an array of logic gates as inputs to another logic gate, the individual gates consisting of gallium arsenide components and having drivers built into the output stage of each gate.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a portable, handheld eyewash dispenser for discharging an eyewash liquid. The eyewash dispenser includes a housing and an expandable rubber bladder mounted in the housing. The housing and the rubber bladder conjointly define a chamber for accommodating the eyewash liquid therein. A propellant cartridge containing a propellant under pressure is mounted in the rubber bladder. A pressure valve responsive to a predetermined pressure of the eyewash liquid is mounted in the housing. A release mechanism is provided for acting on the propellant cartridge for discharging the propellant therefrom to inflate and expand the bladder thereby imparting pressure to the eyewash liquid causing the latter to be expressed through a nozzle. The housing is configured to permit the user to comfortably grasp the dispenser in one hand.
