Abstract: A nonwoven fabric and a method of production of said nonwoven fabric are disclosed, wherein the nonwovens fabric comprises at least one layer, said layer comprising endless filaments, —which comprise at least a first polymeric material (A) and a second polymeric material (B) having its melting point lower than the first polymeric material A, —wherein the second polymeric material (B) extends in the longitudinal direction of the filament and forms at least a part of the surface of the filament and—the at least one layer of endless filaments comprises filament-to-filament bonds formed of the second polymeric material (B), wherein all components of the filaments are arranged across the cross-section of the filament in a non-crimpable configuration and the nonwoven fabric has a structural softness of at least 80 (m4 mm2 g?2).

Abstract: A nonwoven web comprising heat bondable fibres and comprising bonding impressions that form a pattern repeated in the machine direction (MD), wherein the bonding impressions include: a system of basic bonding impressions, which are arranged to create visually primary patterns and an area of each basic impression is at least 1 mm2, and a system of auxiliary bonding impressions having the area smaller than 1 mm2, and wherein a sum of bonding areas of the individual auxiliary bonding impressions accounts for at least 30% of a total bonding area.

Abstract: A spunbond nonwoven web for an acquisition/distribution layer, the web comprising a first layer (1) of filaments, wherein the first layer (1) consists of continuous crimped bi-component filaments of an eccentric core/sheath structure, the filaments having a diameter in the range of 15 to 35 microns and exhibiting at least 3 crimps/cm, a second filament layer (2) arranged in direct contact on the first layer (1), wherein the second layer (2) of filaments comprises continuous crimped bi-component filaments of an eccentric core/sheath structure, the filaments having a diameter, which is smaller than the diameter of the filaments in the first layer (1) and which is in the range of to 20 microns and exhibiting at least 3 crimps/cm.
