    Abstract: A mains protection device for a.c. mains comprises a circuit for detecting whether or not the mains voltage is within an amplitude window. When the voltage goes above or below the window, the mains is disconnected from an appliance and when the voltage returns to within the window for a preset time, the mains is reconnected to the appliance.
