Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system and a method for navigating images and AR experiences. The system and method present, by a messaging application, in a scrollable region on top of a live video feed being displayed in a GUI comprising a viewfinder, a first plurality of options associated with previously captured content items and a second plurality of options associated with AR experiences. The system and method scrolls the first plurality of options together with the second plurality of options of the scrollable region to bring one of the first plurality of options or one of the second plurality of options into focus. In response, the system and method: modify a configuration of the GUI in accordance with a first manner or modify the configuration of the GUI in accordance with a second manner.

The operations comprise presenting, by the messaging application, in a scrollable region on top of the live video feed being displayed in the viewfinder, a first plurality of options associated with previously captured content items and a second plurality of options associated with augmented reality (AR) experiences. The operations comprise receiving input associated with scrolling the scrollable region and, in response to receiving the input, scrolling the first plurality of options together with the second plurality of options.

Abstract: Approaches provide for a voice communications device to control, refine, or otherwise manage the playback of media content in response to instructions, such as spoken instructions. For example, the voice communications device receives input data associated with a command, such as a request to begin media playback. Accounts corresponding to users associated with the command are identified and one or more refinements extracted from the input data are used to filter content, such as from respective content catalogs or via trained models associated with the users. Determined content is generated that includes content from each of the content catalogs or trained models associated with the users. Thereafter, the voice communications device can initiate media playback.
