Abstract: A system includes one or more data sources. Each data source is configured to collect and store event data. An event bus is configured to monitor the event data of the one or more data sources. The event bus determines that a first portion of the monitored event data satisfies a first task criteria. The first portion of the monitored event data is associated with a first tag that corresponds to the first task. The event bus determines that a second portion of the monitored event data satisfies a second task criteria. The second portion of the monitored event data is associated with a second tag corresponding to the second task. The first portion of the monitored event data with the first tag and the second portion of the monitored event data with the second tag are provided for storage in a data lake.

Abstract: A storage management subsystem monitors usage of the data stored by a data storage system. Based at least in part on the monitored usage of the stored data, a storage profile is determined for the stored data. The storage profile indicates a first time period during which a first portion of the stored data is anticipated to be accessed and a second portion of the stored data is not anticipated to be accessed and a second time period during which the first portion of the stored data is not anticipated to be accessed. During at least the first time period, the first portion of the data is stored in a decompressed format and the second portion of the data is stored in a compressed format. During at least the second time period, the first portion of the data is stored in the compressed format.

Abstract: A memory record of a knowledge management tool stores data lineage criteria. A processor of the knowledge management tool receives a request to change one or more of a configuration of a server, a code of a hosted application, and a configuration of the hosted application. The processor determines whether a misalignment is detected associated with the requested change being outside at least one of the predefined ranges of values for server configuration data and application configuration data of the data lineage criteria. If the misalignment is not detected, the requested change is allowed to be implemented in one or both of the server and the hosted application. If the misalignment is detected, an alert is provided to an administrator device. If a response to the alert indicates to implement the requested change, implementation of the requested change is allowed. Otherwise, implementation of the requested change is prevented.

Abstract: A target device executes a target application programming interface (API), and a client device executes a client API that generates and/or collects data. The client device determines that at least a portion of the data collected by the client API is to be sent from the client API to the target API. In response to this determination, target configuration information is received. The target configuration information includes one or both of software properties of software executed on the target device and hardware properties of the target device. The client device determines that a data transfer change is needed for receipt of the portion of the data by the target API. In response to determining that the data transfer change is needed, the data transfer change is automatically implemented. The portion of the data is then sent to the target API.
