  • Publication number: 20130050506
Abstract: The carbon nanotube (CNT) imaging system combines many sensor nanotubes into a containment vessel that is utilized as a pixel in a multipixel array that is assembled in a similar row and column configuration as other type of 2D sensors. The individual CNT sensor elements inside this pixel containment vessel may have many different carbon nanotubes with many different spectral frequencies. This will permit much faster acquisition of specific spectral data and the assemblage of spectral data cubes much faster than camera utilizing conventional optomechanical spectrographs or similar acoustic LCD filter gates for the same. The system could also contain emitter carbon nanotubes to emit coherent light back out through the optical lens system to act to provide range information or function as a spectral illuminator for the system.

  • Publication number: 20130038725
Abstract: The invention pertains to the creation of an enclosed hyperspectral and/or multispectral and/or ultraspectral and/or full spectrum and/or full frame and/or scanning imaging device that will use a multitude of spectral ranges, fluorescence features, polarized filtration, zoom lenses, and con-focal capabilities. The system would also have related imaging attachments, and triggered lights for multiple ranges, including UV, VNIR, SWIR and LWIR. The system collectively will be constructed so that it can hold 4 imaging devices. The system would have a high throughput and processing computer system with large volume data storage and redundancy in order to process large data loads quickly and efficiently. This system would be used to analyze explosives and/or other targets close up from large quantities to micro quantities and feature upgradeable transmission containers for imaging specific targets in their gaseous forms so that viable libraries and classification features can be constructed.

  • Publication number: 20120003728
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of algae biofuel production, in particular to methods and means of physical action on biological structures of photosynthesing microorganisms, phototrophic algae in particular. The invention can be used for obtaining biofuel from algae, as well as for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and foodstuff industries. In the process of the method implementation radiation of cultivated solution of photosynthesizing microorganisms/phototrophical algae is carried out by the action of electromagnetic waves of a selected intensity. Stimulation of increasing photosynthesizing microorganisms/phototrophical algae biomass is obtained by the interaction of electromagnetic wave and biological cell. Irradiation of cultivated solution of photosynthesizing microorganisms/phototrophical algae is performed by electromagnetic waves originating from specified sensor mechanisms mounted about the acrylic or plastic-based stackable tubular bioreactor.
