The processor ceases timing of the standardized performance test in response to receiving an output signal corresponding to a force greater than or equal to a maximum threshold force. The processor determines a time interval of the standardized performance test based upon the output of the timer.

    Abstract: Systems and methods of developing a tissue deformation profile for a foot of a patient. The tissue deformation profile can be used to identify a desired configuration for an orthotic device. A method uses a sensing orthotic device to assist in the treatment of foot issues. The orthotic device can have at least two sensors and at least one actuator for adjusting physical parameters of the orthotic device.
