Abstract: A protective material for surrounding the inside of an infant's crib includes at least one panel having a substantial rectangular shape. The panel is composed of felt and has a plurality of apertures formed completely through the panel. The apertures comprise between 25% and 60% of the surface area of the panel. The panel has sufficient rigidity so that when positioned upright, and held from a bottom edge, the panel remains in the upright position. At least one fastener secures the panel to the side of a crib. In various further forms, the protective material may comprise a single panel having four segments which are foldably attached to one another, folded inward 90 degrees to thereby form four sides of a substantially rectangular box. Alternatively, the bumper comprises four discrete, separate panels.

Abstract: A mattress cover includes a substantially top panel having a top panel perimeter edge folded at least partially under a remaining portion of the top panel. The top panel has a first panel present therearound. A side panel defines four sides of the mattress cover. The side panel has a side panel perimeter edge folded at least partially under a remaining portion of the side panel. The side panel has a second pattern different than the first pattern. In one advantageous form, an optional intermediate element is attached to both the top panel perimeter edge and the side panel perimeter edge. The mattress cover has a substantially open bottom opposite the top panel.

Abstract: A device for holding bath toys is provided that includes a flexible receptacle having a back panel and a front panel adjoined by opposing sides and a bottom of the receptacle. At least a portion of the bottom of the receptacle is formed of a mesh material and a top portion of the back panel defines at least two openings, with the top portion of the back panel and an upper edge of the front panel further defining an open end of the receptacle. The device also includes a mounting plate having at least two posts on a first side of the mounting plate and an element for attaching the mounting plate to a wall; and at least two caps, each cap defining a bore for receiving the post and for secure attachment to the post.

Abstract: A bath spout cover is provided that includes a body structure having an upper portion, two opposing side portions, and a front portion; a receiving area defined between the upper portion, the two opposing side portions, and the front portion; a strap spanning the two opposing side portions, said strap being adjustable on at least one of the side portions of the body structure; and at least one aperture defined by one of the side portions of the body structure, said aperture for receiving an end of the strap. Further provided are methods for securing a bath spout cover to a bath spout.
